brookfox Posted 3 August 2025 Posted 3 August 2025 Thought at one stage he’d be leaving us for a Real Madrid, but injuries and a change in playing style have reduced his value and €9m is probably a good deal.
Popular Post stu Posted 3 August 2025 Popular Post Posted 3 August 2025 Needs to go, but will be sad when he does. Only Kante bests him as a better player in that role in LCFC history? 7
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 3 August 2025 Posted 3 August 2025 Tidy fee tbf. Will make 20 appearances a season from now until he retires, he completely shit to bits the same as Ricardo.
Lesta2014 Posted 3 August 2025 Posted 3 August 2025 Would leave hamza as only fa cup winning squad member if I’ve got that right? Can fully move on from that era and build a fresh one. Have loved wilf from his great ball winning abilities to his great ball giving away abilities 3 seconds later. Very effective at what he did in early days, thanks for the memories.
DezFox Posted 3 August 2025 Posted 3 August 2025 I think we will really miss him. I know he must leave and is injury prone but we are pretty much always better with him the side even if he is not the player he was. In my opinion, he will go down as one of our greats. Not many better than peak wilf. 3
Pliskin Posted 3 August 2025 Posted 3 August 2025 Time for him to leave. He’s had some great moments, but he’s been off for a while…. Another big earner off the wage bill too.

richardsfoxes Posted 3 August 2025 Posted 3 August 2025 All profit aswell, thanks for the memories Wilf. 1
Chelmofox Posted 3 August 2025 Posted 3 August 2025 Bye Wilf. He knows he has to accept that. Had some great moments but we have to move on.
Swarles Barkley Posted 3 August 2025 Posted 3 August 2025 Wish him well but thats a very decent fee for him. Happy days if it goes through
Lambert09 Posted 3 August 2025 Posted 3 August 2025 Good bit of business from the club not losing him on a free in the end. Shame he couldn’t raise his game last year, he’s one who seemed happy to be here but his legs have aged so poorly
RonnieTodger Posted 3 August 2025 Posted 3 August 2025 Been a cracking signing for us to be fair. Definitely the right time for him to go, however.

foxfanazer Posted 3 August 2025 Posted 3 August 2025 His form and ability fell off a cliff for whatever reason a long time ago. Was genuinely class for us for a period. No hard feelings towards him whatsoever 3

Popular Post 2ndtierfox Posted 3 August 2025 Popular Post Posted 3 August 2025 That midfield of Ndidi Tielemans Madders was one of the best in PL for a while... Good memories. Fall from grace. Ndidi great servant good player and always tried, wish him the best 6
Popular Post majaco Posted 3 August 2025 Popular Post Posted 3 August 2025 In over 50 years, there are few who I would pick ahead of him when he was at his best. Kante... and I'm struggling beyond that 5
fox_favourite Posted 3 August 2025 Posted 3 August 2025 Like others have said he's been a great servant to us and deserves a good move. No I'll feelings to our Wilf. He was great for us, but his injuries have cause him to drop in form. If he goes, all the very best and we move on!

Mickyblueeyes Posted 3 August 2025 Posted 3 August 2025 At one point he was one of the best in the world in his position. Not many Leicester players you could say that about. Was surprised he signed last year. We need to do deals like this and wish Wilf all the best. 1

coolhandfox Posted 3 August 2025 Posted 3 August 2025 Been a great servant. 303 + appearances, we have had our money's worth. If we can get €9.5m it a good deal for someone who could have left for free last summer and pure profit. 1
