Thought at one stage he’d be leaving us for a Real Madrid, but injuries and a change in playing style have reduced his value and €9m is probably a good deal.

Would leave hamza as only fa cup winning squad member if I’ve got that right? Can fully move on from that era and build a fresh one. Have loved wilf from his great ball winning abilities to his great ball giving away abilities 3 seconds later. Very effective at what he did in early days, thanks for the memories.

I think we will really miss him. I know he must leave and is injury prone but we are pretty much always better with him the side even if he is not the player he was. In my opinion, he will go down as one of our greats. Not many better than peak wilf.

Thomas played in the final.

Good bit of business from the club not losing him on a free in the end.

Shame he couldn’t raise his game last year, he’s one who seemed happy to be here but his legs have aged so poorly

His form and ability fell off a cliff for whatever reason a long time ago. Was genuinely class for us for a period. No hard feelings towards him whatsoever

Like others have said he's been a great servant to us and deserves a good move. No I'll feelings to our Wilf. He was great for us, but his injuries have cause him to drop in form.

If he goes, all the very best and we move on!

That midfield of Ndidi Tielemans Madders was one of the best in PL for a while... Good memories. Fall from grace.

Ndidi great servant good player and always tried, wish him the best:fc:

Probably one of the biggest declines we've had from a player from my memory

At one point he was one of the best in the world in his position. Not many Leicester players you could say that about. Was surprised he signed last year. We need to do deals like this and wish Wilf all the best.

Been a great servant.

303 + appearances, we have had our money's worth.

If we can get €9.5m it a good deal for someone who could have left for free last summer and pure profit.
