As Fatawu would (should) be on the right I can't really say I would be happy with any of the rest being our first choice starting left winger

BDCR and Ayew can't run

Monga and Evans I really cannot see starting very regularly for us

McAteer isn't good enough to be a key starting winger in my opinion

Kasey may be a good presser but I don't believe he offers as much towards us scoring goals as Stephy does

imo Kasey is good enough to be a starting winger in the champo, You forget he was our best player at the start of last championship season along with kdh before he got injured and then never rarely got a look in cause of fats & stephy picking up form & injuries plagued him after that and his strength is finishing ideally He should be tried in a no 9 role tbh makes sense to try it

Fatawu : 43 apps

                2,973 mins

                7 Goals

kasey : 26 apps

              1,307 mins

              7 Goals

stephy : 48 apps

               3,718 mins

               13 Goals

Book value of approx £4m

I don’t think we have the money or the recruitment system to rely on a complete firesale but unfortunately we pretty much have to consider sales for any of our players, so long as the fee is ‘correct’

Our version of Robbie Brady topping the Championship assist chart next season.

Bring it on, Finners 😍

He won’t go abroad they won’t pay what we want and I’d guess he wants to stay in UK now anyway so unless a low end Prem team come in for him I’d expect him to be here come August.

Torn on this more than I thought I would be. Very much a streaky player who struggled with the step up, but was never really given much of a chance when he really should’ve been. When he had a point to prove, he caused problems.

Can be very effective in the championship as seen by the last time we were there, but he does have games at that level where he does go missing - can be a feature levelled at a lot of wingers. I think he has a big role to play next season, but if we get an offer of £8-10m I think we’d consider it the position we are in. We paid £5m for him I think it was? I’d be surprised if someone paid triple that for him but I may be wrong.

What would thoughts be if we sold Stephy for a profit on PSR, and brought in Poku on a free for example?

I know you've just thrown Poku in for examples sake, but he's a right winger, so not like for like. Price wise makes a lot of sense obviously.

I suppose a lot depends on available options and the fee we got.  The ship has sailed on the likes of Rowe and Sainz (deal still not done though) of Norwich, who would be upgrades imo.  Could probably talk to Villa about a Louie Barry loan to buy.  Although he's still injured and buying from the Premier League sides isn't usually great value.

Stephy is decent. So a decent sum would be required. Not really sure who is going to pay enough to make it happen.  Also worth noting he probably wouldn't be immediately replaced, with the money generated maybe going on refreshing that midfield of ours.  We've still got Ayew, BDR and Kasey who can play there, and even though that's underwhelming, it's still gonna be depth.

anything North or £20m and you have to give it real consideration, I'd prefer to keep him but if sacrificing him means keeping Bilal I'd do it

12 month left, agent talk to get new deal?

3 years left?

5 year deal when he joined in 2023

I think realistically anybody is for sale in the squad at the minute. We could keep but know he didn't really prove he was Prem class. 15m plus and I would let him go.

I've always had mixed feelings on Stephy. Undoubtedly talented and exciting to watch but his decision making is so so poor.

He started well and faded badly. Not good enough for the Championship. We've got better first choice and up and coming youngsters that we don't want stifling by him. Not particularly fast, can't beat his man, poor positioning and often caught in two minds. Just another backwards and sideways merchant. Does however have a good attitude which is more than can be said for some of the others.

I reckon £14m and we deal, that would be £10m profit which would be significant in current climate. You also have to factor in whether he really wants to stay and does he have the heart and desire for another season in the championship.

last time around it was probably seen as a great opportunity to join a club at the start of an exciting new journey, now 2 years on it’s a very different picture.

I alway got the feeling he was a player looking for a home.

He’s a good player, and a starter in the championship.

However, the reality is that we haven’t got two pennies to rub together, and we are stacked for wingers.

Abdul and Kasey will be fine as starters if the money is right - 15m+.

The young lads and the grandads to provide backup.
