But the OP said he'd come from London?? Why would he come up to Leicester to just get on another train and go back??

Actually, reading the OP and the way it’s currently punctuated I can only deduce that the author (himself) got off at Leicester. Not sure why that’s weird unless they don’t live in Leicester and just randomly got off when the train stopped. I’m waiting for further information about John Terry and “another guy”.
