Apparently He’s written off a few of our multi million Pounds debts in recent years from his own pocket so that’s some good he’s done for us, I just wish he’d wake up and smell the Turf and move JR onto pastures new !

Money the club would never be able to payback, it's good that he did it but it's never been an upfront cash investment. The fact he's had to convert the debt to equity is because of his own **** ups - but yes ultimately a good thing he did.

I swear other clubs recruiting managers and players overseas don't take this long to sort the paperwork but obviously the finer details we'd be less acute to for other clubs.

I'm going to see how long it took QPR to announce Julien Stephan.

I imagine permit is sorted now.

We'll be busy deciding how to form the shit sandwich of new sponsor, new kit and new manager best....

lol how is this still not done? Absolute banter club.

I am expecting the club will put a request out asking fans to contribute to a GoFundMe to help pay for the other half of the wages that he’s not paying!!!

Yes we’re a joke!

How on earth does he need a visa when he was employed in this country as recently as a month ago? Just announce it you absolute shambles.

With work visas Ric, they are not transferable as they are issued for a specific Employer.  So a fresh application is required in his case.  But they could announce it subject to International clearance.

There is no real consideration to the fans from this board. Even when the new manager is announce, who ever they may be, I don’t think anyone won’t bother about it😡

Their lack of communication with the fans (who seem to be very low on their list of priorities) is what pisses me off the most about all of this.

Rumours started around 18 June and he was confirmed for 24th before being properly announced on the 25th.

EDIT: Oh and according to QPR themselves Marti was mutually let go on 24th June so that’s likely why Stephan was delayed a couple days.

Probably avoiding that because it would be incredibly on brand for them to announce it ‘subject to’ and then it not be cleared for some bizarre reason. Another jewel in the crown of We’re Useless at Literally Everything FC

Apparently it was an hour and a half from their chairman finding his name on Wikipedia to him taking his first training session. We’re an absolute joke!

what’s the panic? He has got the job, he will be in Austria, and there will be some freshening up of the squad……looking forward, if we aren’t challenging in September, everyone on here will want him gone

It’s definitely going to be this. I feel like the Clubs Comms Team only exists to bury bad news, it’s not actually there to communicate with the fans.

It’ll have nothing to do with the Cifuentes deal and everything to do with getting the sponsorship tied up so they can have him holding up the new shirt so it’ll be a case of “NEW MANAGER + …. new morally objectionable sponsor”

Have we become slower to announce incomings since the silva debacle?

just looks as though we’re trying to delay announcing this until as late as possible pre trip to Austria.  Recall ranieri was revealed whilst we were there.  You’d assume that he’s had input re recruitment and sales (although doubt he’ll have much say on the latter).

If it’s true or not I’m not sure, but I’ve been told the club want to do the kit release before they announce Cifuentes so he can be photographed holding the monstrosity.

That is just ridiculous if true. They can announce it and then do the photos. So unprofessional

We are slow and difficult to deal with. Falkirk said it took 15 days to sort Henry Cartwrights loan move no wonder we can't shift players out 🤔

Hoping they will announce as part of the pre-season tour starting tomorrow. Remember Claudio was announced in Austria. We also made a big thing of announcing Youri's signing when the team was away.

I have it on good authority that we’ve asked Rangers if we can speak to Martin

I have it on good authority that Rudkin is worried his custard stain won't come off his tie. It's been in the wash twice so far.

No announcement until it's removed
