It shows more commitment to the hiring if they are thinking about the assistant/rumours of that as well. First link where that has happened

I went Hammarby back in April, their fans still sing about him, he took them from mid-table and got them to Europe. He's very well regarded by them. Bit like Pearson to us.

It's that bit where QPR went wrong which is a concern, just hope it was a personality clash.

Although this combo thing is exactly the sort of reason we will step away.

Who else was with him at QPR? Will he have a full back room staff to come with him, really hope Kingy is part of his coaching team

Looks like everyone who came with him / that were brought in whilst he was at QPR are still there:

Assistant Manager - Xavi Calm

Goalkeeping Coach - Andrew Sparkes

First team coach - Kevin Betsy

Performance manager - Ben Williams

Never managed more than 100 games at a club before, he doesn't seem to stick around for long anywhere.

This is a mad appointment I mean this could be the worst one out the lot. What I they seeing to think he’s got what it takes to be decent. Madness

His last four jobs were moving onto something better each time

Hopefully when he eventually leaves us it is for the same reason

Was a youth coach same time as Rudkin.... spent 4 months at Millwall after being at Ajax.

Outside chance but there's no reason they've not crossed paths or done a course together, just like with Dyche.

Beat Southampton and sign best part of their defence. Hammer QPR and chase their manager. Quite funny really.

I like this more than the links to Rohl

Same, Rohl wants a german club, rather go for this guy who actually wants to be here.

Shocking. Predicting the LCFC compensation account will have to be opened again soon. Doesn't tick any boxes for me. Praying my judgement is as bad as usual.

Why shocking? His QPR team played by far the best football against us last time we were in this league

Yeah, and I think his style of play will be easier to implement with this group of players than Rohl’s will.

Cifuentes has done a great job with QPR. They too are an utter turd, and he really turned them around. Beat us too didn’t he on the last Championship season.

He’s capable of a lot more I think, and with a decent squad of players could get them hitting the ground running fairly quickly.

From what little I know of the managerial bo Svensson, if we have a chance of getting him, we probably need to take it. Im no expert on European football, but from what I know, he sounds like he could be better than anyone/most else linked.
