With all the players sold or left massive amount of money saved in wages we should be well inside psr. With a chance of the league punishing us does not give the manager a chance. Where all the money going king power

Show us your calculations then?

Get this man central midfieder, an attacking midfielder and a striker and see what he can do.

Obviously, I want every Leicester manager to succeed, but I don't think I've wanted one to succeed so much on a personal level for some time.

OK, fair enough. He's now been given those three players. Time will tell whether they are of sufficient quality (the striker definitely feels like a punt) but we are now at least able to field a starting 11 that is more balanced and better on paper than what we have put out in our last two league games.

It is nice to have a thoroughly likeable Manager

Just hope he is backed this window and then no excuses

What a contrast with clueless Cooper and insufferable RVN

to be fair, neither of them were bad coaches, but they didn’t have the strength of character to take hold of a dressing room  in disarray and get the players respect and get them listening to them and they hadn’t a clue how  to rebuild confidence and character. Give them a stack of bibs and a pack of cones  and they’d be fine. They were simply coaches on the training field and not managers..

He's on the WYS podcast available to watch live tonight on BBC Sport from 6pm. Feels like he's doing all the right things to reconnect the fan base, needs support from those above him and those in the stands.

He's won me over. It hasn't been pretty, but he's always said he needs to build the foundations first, and with 2 clean sheets and the effort we've seen, he's getting the players on side by the looks of it.

He was probably the best appointment for our position. I think he knew we had to have a clear out and couldn't spend much money, but we have used the free and loan market quite well. All sensible moves that make sense. Whether they prove good enough, time will tell, but they were all the sort of players we needed.

I think I'll give this a watch.

It’s clear how much he wants to engage with the fans and do the little things to try and rebuild a connection that was destroyed under Cooper, RVN etc.

Its early days but lots of green flags.

I really like how he is giving Monga the chance to develop and grow, hopefully it will give Mav a kick up the arse he needs.

He’ll truly win me over once we start to batter teams, and never see Ayew in the starting line up again.  JJ and Ramsey will make such a difference so I’m glad we have them.

Getting rid of the rot and changing the bad habits is a big task but will make things so much better.

It’s a big ask but hopefully he has been working on the players carrying the ball and supporting attacks rather than backwards and sideways playing like cowards, putting unnecessary pressure on the keeper too often.

If the football look exactly like the first few matches then I’ll wonder what they actually do in training and question his ability.

I’d expect us to settle and improve now the window has shut, players know they’re here til Jan at least.

I hope so. It’s such a waste of resources having Winks out in the cold whatever side of the fence we sit on with the reason.

Thankfully we have players in to freshen up and improve because we can’t have another season with another manager hoping Daka and Ayew will come good.

We need to make a statement and batter a team not just 10 minutes of good attacking possession for Ayew to ruin it by falling over or the full backs to stand still watching the wingers get teamed up on.  They need to stop going back into their shell and passing backwards and showing no attacking intent. We can’t spend the season with Monga and Fatawu saving us with individual skill.

Think the biggest challenge he’s going to have now is squad management and rotation. CB for example it’s any two from four who are all good enough and maybe one won’t even make the bench. It’s similar in midfield and even attack up to a point. Wingers we probably have a few stand outs. And this is all before we even factor in trying to give game time to youngsters. Competition for places is obviously good but takes good man management for those who miss out.

Yeah, even with the decent number of departures we still have an absolutely stacked squad for this level. Luckily a good number of those that will drop out fall firmly in the #SELL category anyway but it's a case of not letting their poison spread through the squad until we can get them out.

Not sure how you could not like this guy. He arrived two weeks before K/O.

He had no time to sort out a system or the squad. It's not looked great but getting better. 9pts and in the top 6.

Could he really have done any better in the time he's had and the selling of players. I personally think once this windows shut and he knows what he has to work with we will see performance improvement. Not saying the results will all be what we want. But for me it's still steps in the right direction. He also seems like he's got bollox and won't be pushed about by players. He's got previous that says he won't take shit from Top or Rudkin.

It’s far to early to judge him tbf, with the squad we have there should be no applause for being in the top 6 after 4 games, we will know more come Christmas

Maybe not. But it sure as anything could have been a damn sight worse given the want away players, uncertainty over outgoings and lack of any incomings.

Just because on paper, the players are better (are they really though) than most other clubs in the league, the above factors create a situation where that doesn’t necessarily mean anything. The fact he has managed to steady things early on is impressive to be fair.

I appreciate him already for the effort that he's making with us. Supporting a football club, onfield performance is only part of the story. Connecting with the fans and repairing broken bonds is just as important. Enzo gave it a go at the start but seemed to give up after January. Let’s hope Marti means it.
