Extended embargo until July 2027 until we can sign a player or loan for any fee and wages above 7k. Also rumours Bannan might not be allowed to register. lol cheers Chansiri

Alright positive Pete it's going to have to happen at some point, whats the alternative?

The alternative is to rebuild now the scouting team with knowledgeable people and hire a DoF with vision to build a talented young team utilising also the academy. We simply can't go up and leave Rudkin and Co in charge.

If the current team is strong for the Championship it will be reflected in the first 10 games of the season.

Seems like the fa are trying to destroy you.

They should fine Chansiri.

Let's be honest who's going to buy a club in your state. All the problems caused by the owner.

Anyone coming in needs to get these sanctions at least suspended. They the fans and club staff are not at fault for this.

You need helping not destroying.

Sheff Wed is a private company owned by Chansiri. This is why a lot of us for many years are calling for ownership changes like the ones in Germany.

I really feel for Sheff Weds but selfishly this is a chance to absolutely blow away a team low on confidence and start our season well.

They will be massively up for it. We should still win, but it will be tough. A hard-fought 1-0 win will do just fine.

Yes this is the way forward but it will mean a full rebuild next summer. We're talking about 14-15 new players maybe? A young team full of thirsty talents. Good luck with that with our current scouting team.

They will have to by default regardless of division

A lot of players contracts expiring and the FFP scenario (a very low loss allowance) means they have to go with gambles or youth

The traffic around the city at 6pm on a Sunday is crazy as we all well know.

People were leaving early from the fieorentina game as well and the stadium was only a third full loads of traffic to beat on a Sunday night

genuinely think this might just be the worst time to play them. in a few weeks all the fight will be gone but they will be bang up for this.

Feels like it will be like when you play a lower league club who are bang up for the fa cup.

Still think this has all the hallmarks of an absolute embarrassment but i'm looking forward to it after last Sundays display.

Leicester 0-1 Wednesday - 90th minute of Bannan’s bald patch all over it

I think there's an argument to be made that we have a much better squad that when we were last relegated, as well as having a lot more potential in this Squad.

The likes of Hermansen, Fatawu and Mavididi were unknowns going into that Season, and I think they've all improved significantly since then. You could probably say the same about McAteer. Thomas/Choudhury have benefited from great game time at the end of the previous season. BEK was a positive from last season, and if he stays, is capable of being a player at the next level.

For a lot of players, who are still 24 and under, like Kristiansen, Thomas, Okoli, Skipp etc, this could be the making of them. The same goes for Nelson, Alves, Monga, Stolarczyk etc, who we should acknowledge, should be loaned out to this level, if we were at the level above.

I've seen an energy in pre season that has reenergised me, from a fan who was pretty disillusioned during last Season.

Even Jordan Ayew, whom it is popular to dislike, has a lot of qualities he can bring. Whilst Vardy is possibly our greatest ever player, in the last 3/4/5 years, his flaws were exposed just as much as Ayew's have been. In my genuine opinion, in a side with a lot of energy and runners wanting to get beyond the striker, Ayew is a better option than Vardy.

Pretty much a very good summary. I also think Marti could be better for us than Maresca. Maresca was quite negative in his approach, wanted to settle for 1-0 and never seemed to learn when we were getting exposed down out right side game after game at the time we lost to Plymouth, Millwall, Bristol City etc. I’m not saying Marti ends up at Chelsea and achieves what Maresca subsequently has but I think he could be better for us and what we need.

Squad wise, I do think the striker situation is a bigger deal than you suggest be I get what you are saying that as a cog in the team, with Ayew.

The missing link is KDH. Central midfield looks weak to me. KDH’s goals, assists and drive to get forward was possible the most vital piece for us that last season. We definitely need a couple of new face in centre mid and striker but outwards moving picking up is positive.

Add to this we have removed on 4 of the top wage earners so should give us a bit of wriggle room.

In true Leicester fashion, this has a loss written all over it 🤣 Sheffield Wed have absolutely no right to win in the state they are in which is usually when we end up Imploding. Hopefully we aren't "that" team this season

It’s got 0-1 written all over it.
