should win very convincingly but this is Leicester City and we do sometimes Fuch things up, like others have said on here if we go for the jugular and play as aggressively as we did against Fiorentina then this could be a big win for us.

But we can’t go into this half heatedly and be far too complacent expecting to win without too much effort or this could be an embarrassment for us !

Will be a comfortable win 4-1.  First of many this season!  Lets go boys!!

I’m expecting at least 6-0, not going to lie I’d be disappointed with a 4-1 win, given the circumstances 😂

When do we ever put anyone to the sword?  Never.  Bound to be a stupid goal against too.

Not gonna lie, I can't get Hull on the opening day of 16/17 out of my mind. When they fielded a squad of like 13 senior players against us as champions and beat us.

Looking at those 2 games of theirs v York & Man City U21s I see 6 goals and 6 different goalscorers.  Interesting to wonder if anyone can name 6 players from our squad who seem capable of scoring.

Think you’re underestimating how hungry and up for it Wednesday are going be. Having already been written off it’s the first time they’ll be able to concentrate on football for 90 minutes.

I’d love for our team to be up for a fight….however….

This is obviously expected to be a win, and hopefully it is to start the season off well under the new manager, but agree with some other posters that it's a game to be cautious about at the same time. They're a well supported club and for the game itself, their fans and players will probably be galvanised to an extent.

I can name the 6 different goal scorers from our pre season if that helps?

You’re not wrong, but in the same breath they’ve 16 players of which most are academy, and academy that aren’t ready. They’ve had cancelled friendlies, aren’t sure if they’re being paid….. if we lose this, it will be a whole new low, unacceptable and frankly embarrassing. With no disrespect to Wednesday.

Hopefully Bilal isn't close enough to a move that he can't play in this. Dread to think who would play in the 10 role if he isn't. Difficult to predict a line up as we don't know who's fit or who is close to a move. Is Justin going to play?

Only real selection dilemma is probably centre back, unfortunately I'd be surprised if Nelson gets the nod.

Winks and Skipp in the middle as I don't want to see Soumare.

Mavs, Fatawu, Bilal and Ayew front 4 should cause enough trouble. If Bilal doesn't play I'd play Ayew and Daka up front.

Monga or Alves in the 10 perhaps?

Possibly, not seen Monga play as a 10 and not sure Alves has done enough but I'd be happy to give him a go. Probably more likely to be McAteer.

I can’t shake this feeling that we won’t get the result we’re expecting and will be humbled a la Bolton style in 2001 (I think it was)……

A 0-5 loss would rankle, I can’t deny it.

I'll amazed if this isn't anything other than a disaster outside the ground on Sunday.

Digital ticketing in full use with absolute minimal preparation such as videos or similar showing how it's done.

Plenty are being caught out by thinking their existing card will work, but you need to apply for the card when you purchased your season ticket for this season and would receive a new one.

Safe standing they've decided to go at with non friendly approach about ticket checks rather suggesting about assistance and encouraging it as the place for atmosphere.

Sheffield Wednesday are somehow going to attempt to get you'd expect at least half of their away end in the ground 5 minutes after kick-off.

Plus the usual arrive 2 minutes before kick off crew then moan that they miss it.

Nothing would surprise me. We lost our first game ever as defending top flight Champions to a newly promoted team who had no manager, a makeshift team and fans protesting about ownership. And we only scored because of a penalty which shouldn't have even been given.
