Vardy being announced on Sunday apparently

I would be devastated if that was true. Also, don't they have 100 strikers at Wrexham?

Vardy next according to @Raj

Well, if true the best of luck to him.

He was our GOAT but that era has ended, I  still think he might have something at this level and if he cant find anything else, well so be it.

Trying to think of matches I felt Coady played well in. Definitely Bournemouth away in the cup under Enzo, maybe West Ham at home this season, other than that he always looked like he was a man played out of position, which let’s be honest, he was.

I think he will do well at Wrexham actually, two young centre backs along side him to organise in a back 3 will suit him down to the ground.

Vardy ~ 200k?

Ward ~ 50k?

Iversen ~ 25k?

Coady ~ 80k?

That's around 350k a week I reckon.

Wasn't Vardy on £140k and Coady about £60k? I could be wrong.

I agree with your list, except for Winks.

I have an inkling that under a better manager (hopefully) like Marti that he will eventually come good, and offer us something. Winks is actually not a bad player, unlike the Jogging Donkey Soumare, and there seemed to be a personality clash between him an RvN,  if there is no reoccurrence of this with Marti and he starts to enjoy his football an apply him self all will be fine this season with regards to Winks.  Add BdCR to the list of dross that need moving on.

Yea I think he would be fine if he gets along with the manager, maybe he doesn't fancy it though which would be my concern, we need a team that is fighting for each other and I don't think he will be up for the challenge.

Not far off including appearance and goal bonuses

Thought he was meant to be on £140k before he signed again.

All of a sudden there’s another £3m been added to his annual salary.

Vardys basic with us in the PL was at peak 150-160K p/w. With appearances and goals this would’ve been 200K+.

Last season he was on less than his peak wage with us but still with appearances and goals, bonuses etc…he likely wasn’t far off 200K per week. (Probably 175-185)

If Ward and Coady play upward of 35 games it has to be a good bet they'll concede north of 100 goals.

If Ward starts the first game, I might back that too.

I'm definitely going Wrexham away ...... should be a great laugh

I may have to offer my immortal soul to the Evil One if he can just have Wrexham start that pair on 30 September.

Would be a pretty crap move for Vardy to go there as well. imagine hearing he has ward as number 1 again. Plus he could still get a better offer from somewhere else abroad

Now i'm unrivalled as the only irritating helmet associated with Leicester who loves podcasts.

Good riddance, abomination of a signing.

WHAT A DAY

What irks me a little though, is we know they’re a semi horrible, little club that have the capacity of a water cooler meet-up.

You could potentially see the m push on though, as I don’t think Coady is a bad player for the Championship. It’s not a bad signing.

Coady adds to our problems but depending on what Wrexham's plan is, he may compliment them. If this is a season change of them paying big wages to players then they are in for a torrid time and he's their worst nightmare. If he's the high profile signing and everyone else is on modest wages then maybe they all buy in to his dog muck and actually does alright.

Crystal palace penalty stands out.

In a dismal season of a lack of leadership and management, throwing away 3 points needlessly was his contribution. His goal against forest isn't enough to balance that out.

Coady was on big wages ,so glad he has gone tbf
