Fatawu goal worth the entrance fee.

Rest of the game a reminder why Daka and Soumare don't belong here.

Get a striker in and we still finish top 6, probably top 3.

Maybe playing him was sending a message to who we're negotiating with?

I don´t get that. If its West Ham they know his values and playing him in a friendly should not change anything....just puzzled

Fatawu being 50/1 seems too big, especially as nobody got over 20 last season, Hirst at 9/1 seems insane

If Sargent stays at Norwich then at 16’s that’s where my non existent money would be going.

Some good early signings already and a manager that’s impressing already

Dark horses for me

Perhaps they haven't met our valuation yet and playing him suggests he's ours until they do?

Daka really is just a spoof at this point aint he.

Literally just comical value. Should be made to play with a squeaky red nose and a horn.

The frustrating thing for me is that his first two actions were to win the ball that lead to shots on target. Problem then is when we pass towards him it just bounces off him.

It’s got to be confidence as I know better Sunday league players with a better first touch.

Hate to be doom mongering but I’m quite weary of taking anything from that result. I thought Fiorentina were utterly shocking until their subs. Outside of Fatawu being incredible, I don’t think we created enough chances against a really poor side.

Couldn’t trap a bag of sand !

He looks like a football player who’s been given a rugby ball to control every time he gets it !

He’s crap

The forward line of Mavadidi, Bilal and Fatawu is definitely the best in the Championship.  A new striker would be ideal but Ayew can do a job if money means we can't bring in someone in who is good enough.

Not crazy about Vestergaard but, with Mads/Jakob,  Hamza, Caleb the defence should be okay. I would switch out Thomas for Aluko for certain.

Skipp did okay today but if we can bring in the likes of Brownhill I think the midfield is strengthened.

Overall, optimistic we can achieve the play-offs, the size of points deduction I think determines if we can do better.

Kone would be a perfect focal point for these three

Opening scene:

INT. EFL HQ - OFFICE -  DAY

A figure sits in a chair facing away from a cluttered desk, staring out of the huge window onto a busy road. Boxes piled on top of each other align the walls. Some of them read: 'LEICESTER'S MANY WRONGDOINGS'. One box sits on top a stuffed paper bin, reading: "ARE OWN RULES".

The man takes a solemn deep breath.

The door swings open - the sign on the door reads "RICK PARRY INVESTIGATES!" - an elderly woman storms in,  looking harried. LYNN, 60s, the man's PA storms in.

She is not looking forward to this.

LYNN

Sir, I have some, er, news...

The man - RICK PARRY, 50s, looks like a former Tory MP - holds his hand up, stopping her mid-sentence. He turns around, cigar in his mouth.

PARRY

Don't tell me. I already know. Wednesday are going to have to forfeit, meaning we have to give Leicester the 3 points.

LYNN

It's not just that, sire. They're--

PARRY

They're what? They're not contesting their deduction again, are they?

LYNN

Well their case is actually quite str-

He holds his hand up again. The other is clenched on the table, his knuckles whitening with rage.

PARRY

We HAVE to try, Lynn. He have to try. For the good of our overlords.

He looks to the wall - team posters of the top six clubs are blue-tacked to the wall; love hearts drawn all over them with zero subtlety, cut outs from magazines of various top six club captains lifting trophies have been pritt-sticked to the posters. Even Harry Kane lifting the Audi Cup is on there.

PARRY

Besides, they don't know that we know De Marco's allergies.

LYNN

It's only Nickel, sir. Worst that would happen is he comes out in a slight rash.

PARRY

I. SAID. WE. HAVE. TO. TRY. LYNN.

He calms himself, slowly.

PARRY

What was your news.

LYNN

I'm afraid it is about Leicester. A problem we hadn't foreseen.

PARRY

Lay it on me.

LYNN

There's really no easy way to say this. Leicester are...

Tense. As. ****

LYNN

Leicester are.... Looking..... Actually..... Good?

He finally breaks. He turns back around, not wanting Lynn to see him.

And he sobs.

LYNN

I'm so, so sorry, sir.

PARRY

I want blankie. Get me blankie!

Exactly the same after as before today’s game  - Hamza, vesty , Thomas and soumare nowhere near good enough - get soumare and vesty out of our club and get the other 2 as back ups on the bench

if Justin is gone and Ricky stays we need a starting cb and a starting left back

we also need a starting number 8 to replace soumare

and finally a forward to rotate with Ayew

vesty , faes , soumare and daka need to absolutely do one

We won’t get 4 new players in but if we did we would absolutely p*ss this league

I’d love people to notice what Soumare does offer, not just what he doesn’t. I think he’ll be huge for us this season if he stays.

I too would love to notice what he offers
