No but there's literally nothing else to talk about.

Fair enough.

The average championship salary is around £20k a week. This guy has never played at this level and would probably be lucky to get that.

We need to be smart with incentives. If he plays x amount of games or scores x amount of goals he gets a significant rise.

He's likely to be the starting striker for a side wanting promotion. He'll be given more than £20k a week.

I know there's some trepidation about offering large wages but we can afford something in the region of £30k-£35k and be fine.

Maybe, but I’d hope we attract players that back themselves to make an impact and earn the incentives and a big move elsewhere.

Tom Cannon is rumoured to be on about £25k and he had played and scored in this division.

Obviously all depends what Swansea offer him though and how much we want him.

Thing is, I weren’t that bothered about him when we were first linked. Now I think he’ll be a really decent signing. It’s a low risk deal, especially considering the low wages he’ll be on. He could also turn out to be really good and we make a big profit on him in a few years.

Let’s get it done.

Interesting that Swansea’s scouting network extends beyond 33 year old EPL players entering their twilight years.  Our Retirement Team needs try looking elsewhere on occasions.  Still Rudders is at the wheel so we can all relax.

We've changed coach so much the scouting is always a year behind.

We had Italian links and buys after Enzo left, and now just generic links to old players following Cooper and RvN

From my (Wycombe) forum today. I don't know about a Wycombe fan's ITK credentials for Leicester, mind!

With the Wilf deal done, I will be expecting news of an official bid for a striker in the next 48 hours, whether it's Kone or not.

There are no reasons to wait left.

Oh Ozzie_the_Relaxed is tier 1! #NeverWrong

To be fair, we have always had a lot of ITKs at Wycombe for our own club, as we were such a tight-knit club before the new corporate overlords took over. Ozzie is also a great poster - I just can't speak to what level of accuracy this statement would have!

Can we just sign him already so I can start calling him a donkey

Or suggesting that give his lack of mobility we would have been better signing an actual Cone

Assume retirement was a typo but quite apt for some here

Didn't realise that he would be a championship player had Wycombe won the play offs. Not bad for a 22 year old after 2 seasons as a professional. Has vardy vibes about him.
