I wouldn't say he was back last night but he certainly didn't impose himself on the game, in retrospect I would have hooked McAteer at HT for Page flipped Monga to the right and Alves out left until Stephy came on

‘Some’ of our fan base are very quick to judge our academy prospects. If we aren’t careful they will all want away from us.

they are still learning on the job and expecting every single one of them to have a breakout game like Rooney did at 16 against Arsenal is rediculous. It just doesn’t happen like that often. We have to trust the manager to figure it out and find the balance. The fact he is playing them and giving them the time & space is encouraging given the pressures he’s under this season. Let’s all support these guys thru thick and thin. Especially as they are trying. It will all click at some point then we will see what this team is capable of.

hudders were good last nite and kept everyone on their toes. Maybe a good wake up call for this weekends game.

Wish I got pulled off at half time last night too. Missus was already asleep though.

'Missus'. Also known as 'right hand' or 'left hand' if you're feeling funky

He has played 797 mins in professional football, that's  8.85 games, the majority at Championship level, his scored 1 goal and had 3 assists at 20 years old

KDH had played 855 on loan at Blackpool in League One at 21 before getting a taste of Championship football at 22.

They boy also missed a chuck of develop due to his ACL.

Chill

My issue is in the LCFC managerial Russian roulette & musical chairs, the youngsters never get a chance, new man in go with tried and trusted, so they get cup play or a loan out.

I think we're poor at their senior development.  Chilwell, Schlupp, King, Barnes, Choudry, Thomas, KDH plus last season and this from 2016, thats not great even with Seagrave.

And there all getting a sniff now coz we're skint.  Promise you if we ever recover in anyway, wallet will come out and players from other clubs/abroad will come steaming in.

BUT how many will play 50 to 100 games for Leicester AND be decent.

“Play the kids”

kids play

”kids shit”

Alves starting his first game with dumb and dumber next to him. Offering absolutely no support. If we are going to “play the kids” we’ve got to be prepared for inconsistency. Good days/bad days. This was a not so good game but to judge him

after one, where he played alongside two pretenders is unfair and irrational.

Very well said!

Still think we could do worse than try Kasey as a makeshift striker. He's actually one of the best finishers at the club, it's his wing play that's lacking.

Has he played as a striker in the academy?

I reckon he goes out on loan last minute

Got to surely.

Season could be make and break. The odd few minutes completely out of his depth wont do him any good.

Needs consistent game time.

yeah just don't think he has the experience to be one of our main men just yet, a good loan at league 1 level and think he'll be fine

Why. Play him. This is his level. What’s the point going lower than where he was last season?

I’d be surprised if he makes our next bench!

Why? Based on our trajectory, next season, once Fatawu, Bilal and basically what is left of any Premier League talent has left, we will be a bog standard, mid-table side so definitely a place for Alves!
