I don't want to see BDCR come on before Monga, Carranza, Ricky or JJ. Other than that it's decent, Ayew was always going to start ahead of Carranza, hopefully he does come on at some point and slowly affirm his place in the starting 11.

He was injured so maybe he isn't match fit?

Didn't Marti say he had picked up a knock?

Probably just precaution, he came back with a hamstring niggle.

I thought he picked up an injury on international duty?

Struggle with a hamstring injury after international break.

Marti mentioned it on the RL interview.

Said he was ok and should be available - but yes likely a precaution

Still other players I would want on the bench ahead of Reid though

Choudhury has done well enough but surely Ricardo needs to be back in from the start now.

For me you sign a striker you chuck him straight in and back him, he's been training here for 2 weeks.

Shame for Page to drop from starting to not even on the bench

Mavididi needs to impact today. Otherwise he could find himself as 2nd or even 3rd choice.

Bench is excellent. Lots of options and lots of tactical flexibility.

Don't think hamza warrants being dropped unfortunately!

Reid isn't needed for me and needs to prove me wrong. Holding youth back!

Disappointed there's no Nelson or Page on the bench, then to really rub it in,  Bobby Reid is on it lol

Think marti said in interview page picked up a knock and was being assessed if i remember correctly

Skipp and Soumare were great last game, as was Hamza at right back (and against Charlton, too). Cifuentes has made the right call here.

You have to think about confidence and man management as well. Can’t change any of those 3 after their performances.

All in think it’s sensible to not mix up the starting 11 too much and that is a very strong bench. Shame for a few of the youngsters but with the squad we have there’ll regularly be good players missing out. Let’s see how it plays out on the pitch!

I hoped this season was the one, where we would see more of the kids, so not over joyed with this line-up. Also the Skipp/Soumare combo still annoys me, but they do seem to be improving at least.
