Kiernan's late brace was decent but I do want something even more iconic. I think it has to be Monga. From Cov and it's been nearly double his age since they were last in the Premier League hahaha

Monga/Abdul combine for a last minute winner - do a dance in the corner where the away fans sit - spot on.

Hamza randomly kneeing one of their players in the melee that follows the dance. Just for jokes.

Not sure how best to go about it but Ricardo simply has to start. He is too good not to. Personally I'd drop Hamza and slot him in at RB but I think Marti quite likes his physicality. So a flat midfield 3 might be the best option.

Centre back partnership is a doozy - they were decent against Charlton, very good against Birmingham and poor against Oxford. Maybe stick with it for now and hope they can develop together.

As others have discussed the Soumare/Skipp experiment has to end now. Think James will come in for one of them, although there's an argument to say Winks should come in as well.

Up top I'd like to see either Daka or Carranza come in for Ayew. We need somene who will stretch the defence. Yes I'm aware of Daka's limitations but he is at least willing to press and run in behind which will be crucial on Saturday as Cov won't sit deep.

People still wanting Daka.  Face facts, he is awful.

It's big for both of us. It's a local derby and I don't know why people play it down.

Recent history a rubbish excuse to use. Are we the only fanbase that does this? Incredibly annoying considering we haven't got a main rival. Why would throw one away. I don't get it.

Villa would not use this against Birmingham, Newcastle wouldn't use this against Sunderland and Wrexham wouldn't use this against Chester yet all three are among the fiercest derbies in the Country. The more recently successful fanbase would not play the game down.

And also, for the manager and players, Cov are the first good side we have played and considering we haven't played that well so far this season it is a big game in that regards for us.

Because it's genuinely not important to them? The point with rivalries is bragging rights, being able to lord it over friends and colleagues. I've never met anyone who supports Coventry, I don't live out in that direction, I couldn't care less about them. Like, this season the defeat at Huddersfield has mattered more to me than the games v Cov do, because I hang out with someone who supports them.

BIG game against Coventry coming up — people are saying it’s the BIGGEST ever (it’s true). Coventry is a total DISASTER, nobody talks about them, nobody goes to their games — EMPTY seats, folks! Leicester will WIN, we always WIN, we have the BEST players, the BEST fans. Coventry doesn’t stand a chance, going to be a very great and BEAUTIFUL victory!!!

Narrator: "Leicester went on to lose the game 3-1"

Needs to pull his finger out frankly.

Agreed. Needs to regain some confidence it looks like, could do with a goal.

Can’t be easy seeing a 16 year-old in your position getting all the attention he is, whilst simultaneously contributing more than you in games.

I like Stephy, and I hope he can find some form again.

Everyone knows that, but it’s currently a choice between him and an unknown quantity in Carranza.

Ayew isn’t a number 9!

I know he is! I said so in my post!

The point is more about fit within the overall system in the context of this specific game. Ayew drops deep and slows down play, Daka can stretch the defence by running in behind which will allow more space for our wingers and midfielders to create.

Carranza may be the solution but as we've not actually seen him play yet it's hard to say. Would like to see him given some minutes on Saturday.

So we need the 3 points and you don't?

It's massive for both sides. I come from a family split right down the middle between Leicester and Coventry. There's no fooling me. My brothers are Leicester. We're having a few beers before and after the game. Making out this game means nothing is being a bit silly.

We're all hoping for a close game where the best team wins.

It's nothing to do with points.   We need the points regardless of the opposition, as does everybody else.

I'm just saying since you have had such lean times that a renewal of a local derby with Leicester is a bigger deal for you than it is for us for us... Well me anyway.

Incidentally, if your brothers are Leicester fans, what went wrong for you?   Talk about getting the short straw.

Speak for yourself.

And stop trying to take the wind out of my sails when I'm trying to wind up our stray Cov fan.

It all depends on which area of Leicestershire you live, I’m from south leics and I hate these more than Forest by a country mile , not even bothered about Derby .

I understand it to be fair. I’ve never seen us win at Forest.

Have been to virtually every away there for 15 years apart from the 3-2 win and 2-2 draw last season lol

Stay away from the City Ground in all future meetings
