Thought Bobby Reid was quite good

Thought he was for first 30 minutes but faded out of the game after that.

Absolutely dog shit, they were dog shit we somehow conspired to be equally dog shit. All I can say is credit to Winks who ran his socks off, shame about the rest of the useless lazy *****.

This team ain’t going up.

The manager is starting to concern me, we look league 1 standard, devoid of anything and some of the selections I can’t understand. He’s beginning to look a bigger clown than Rudd in a much worse division

Back about an hour ago but had to do some work stuff and havent read the thread.

My first game of the season so was nice to get into the old routine.

Sadly ruined by the actual 'matchday experience'

Thought we were pretty good first half, but sadly second half was crap and Vesty having possibly the worst size to strength ratio in professional football was the main reason they got the equalizer.

Daka did well for the goal and did a decent job of closing down, but is technically awful

James looks decent

Subs were shit

Amazed Skipp got booked, he was invisible

Monga looked lively and having only seen snippets last year his balance and close control is amazing, but they overloaded him (albeit I'm sure he broke past 3 players at least twice)

No idea what needs to be done to get Mav looking decent again

I've said it before but VK is a Pro Evo Master League starting player - so average, no idea why we brought him on for a similar but in my eyes slightly better Thomas

Also had the delight of 3 old women who now apparently have ST in the row ahead of me, moaning throughout the game about me being 'selfish'.

Apparently leaning on/over the scaffold barrier thing installed for safe standing is not allowed, particularly as I kept touching the hair of the one directly in front of (I did not lol)

Look forward to their strongly worded letter to Cliff Ginetta getting me a ban from the ground and added to a register of some sort before the week is out.

I used to be a passionate die hard supporter… home and away, thought of little else but football & LCFC.

My wife came into the room with 5 minutes to go tonight to check I was OK - Not a single shout at the TV. Even worse I’d played chess on my phone for most of the second half.

I’m becoming apathetic … the almost inevitable end to any relationship. Very sad.

Same here.......stream went 5 mins from half time.Couldn't be bothered to look for another one so watched something else instead.Hate myself for doing it,but the truth is i don't really care anymore.

He's mostly been getting the line up wrong and fixing it somewhat with the subs. Today it flipped around as he named a line up I was sort of happy with. Nowhere near perfect but lots more round pegs in round holes if nothing else and this produced, for around three quarters of the game, probably our best performance of the season - albeit I think you would have to take into account the relatively weak opposition.

The subs were horrible though, totally threw the initiative away and by the time their equaliser arrived nobody was really surprised by it.

When you couple the mismanagement of this game with the ever increasing nonsense situation with Nelson you are left with very little to cling onto. We're doing nothing for the long-term and in exchange we're barely even getting the short-term right either. 3 wins in 8 games. Not a single person on here would've accepted that in August.

The manager is not convincing me. But as ever the problems were always far deeper. As I feared though, he's lacking the ruthlessness this job needs. It's a pig of a job currently but it really needed something radical. He's never really shown any signs to me of delivering that.

Is it me, or did we become a massively weaker side after Skipp came on?

It ain't you. He doesn't have anything effective to contribute.

Taking James off in a fruitless attempt to shake things up is silly.

Both Thomas and Choudhury are excellent passers of the ball, but both have weaknesses - Thomas with pace and Choudhury with sloppiness. Daka is never going to break the hex which seems to hang over him.

Why did we loan out El Khanouss - someone remind me.

Cifuentes has brought off James for two games in a row and on both occasions it has weakened us. I hope he has noticed.

Really disappointed with that.

the result hinged on two decisions. Taking BDCR off for Skipp was baffling. It completely lost our momentum and made us instantly weaker. If Bobbys race was run, straight swap with Ayew. JJ looked great in the 8, he is so much more effective there. Got Praet for Iheanacho vibes.

Then for the goal Jannik has to clear his lines. I don’t know what he (and then later VK) were thinking.

I thought that Bobby and Daka did really well. Considering it was their first starts I thought they worked hard and we looked more dangerous with them on the pitch.

Winks was great, Hamza was class one minute - league 2 the next, Monga looked lively but Fatawu struggled. When he is doubled up on we need to use the extra man better. CB’s were steady apart from a couple of brain farts (one very costly) and both LB’s were a bit meh.

I understand what Marti meant by the “arrogant” comment. With Brendan and Enzo we created this complex where we thought we have a divine right to win football matches. I believe this was apparent last season and so far this there is an element of us thinking we can just turn up and it will be ok. Let’s see what Saturday brings but either way the international break is coming at a good time.

We scored a lovely well worked goal finished off by the MOM.

Unfortunately that was probably the only positive of the night.

Some comical errors, Hamzas back pass was non league esque, Vesty pratting around leading to their goal, another back pass by some mug which should have been a goal.

Usual proof performance  from the usual suspects.

Dakas assist, which was meant to be a trap, doesnt deviate from his usual lack of prowess up front.

Luckily Wrexham were as shit as us, but only one team was going to win that at the end, we were holding on.

Another couple of rounds in Boxing and we would have been KOd.

This is where we are, this is such a sh1t league, if we went up with this lot we would bear Derbys record.

I did think Daka did what we wanted him to do in that first half. Just be a nuisance and occupy defenders there was definitely some more space for others to exploit, and it was generally more promising.

But that second half, it was an utter abomination….

The game was littered with unforced errors and stupid passing decisions. Their goal shouldn't have happened and we look so static going forward. The talent we have, we should be putting these teams to the sword. But all we do is create problems with stupidity at the back with stupid brain farts.

However...Wrexham dug deep and their subs made a difference. Putting James and Broadhead on made them tick a bit better and they had determination to cause us issues. You have to give them credit, we just didn't have an answer...which e should!!

James and BDR the highlights. But my goodness don't potter about when it's 1-0. Do it at 3 or 4. It almost felt inevitable that they'll score, just not the way I thought they would. Poor defending

Skipp, Thomas and VK...dear lord.

I hope this gets better but we need to learn to be ruthless, Marti's system or the players don't allow that. I personally think some of it is the players

If you want a Wrexham perspective on the game, just have a read of this.

They are delighted with the point mostly and can’t quite believe they are playing us, never mind taking a point.

We are a massive team and a big fish in this division. We need to show our teeth when we are on top ab finish teams.

I don’t think other than that first 45 minutes last night, we have looked convincing in the slightest this season.

I predicted us to win the league and that’s why we really should be doing with the quality we have.

People cheering the Daka sub don’t understand football. We looked so much better having a striker who was making runs, pressing hard and generally acting like a no.9 should. He’s not perfect but he worked his balls off and got a great assist.

Ayew on the other hand showed what he’s about when he came on.

Yep, totally agree with this.

The fact we have a high number of people praising Dakas performance last night just shows how far we have fallen.

Yes he ran around a lot and worked hard. But in reality when he got involved in anything that resembled an attacking move his touch was either absolutely woeful or he ended up falling over. His heading is also absolutely woeful.

Yes he contributed to the goal but a striker that cost that much should be able to make a pass like that

According to Google he's played 118 competitive matches for us and scored 23 goals.

Considering 4 of them were in the game in Moscow that's 19 in 117.

I genuinely can't remember, and I can't even be arsed to look, when he last scored other than pre-season.

How have we got ourselves into a position where him and a, nearly as poor,  Ayew are our main threats on goal?
