Rubbersoul Posted 25 January Posted 25 January Does Percy not cover us anymore or has he lost his source? Don’t think I’ve seen him write about us or Cifuentes at all this season.

We need to clear out the whole manament structure and rebrand and rebuild. Interesting perspective but sadly I don't think it's anywhere near 90% who want new owners - what makes you think it's that many?

coolhandfox Posted 25 January Posted 25 January The best performance he has managed was against Fiorentina, who weren't fit and couldn't be arsed.

ian__marshall Posted 25 January Posted 25 January Has to go. That performance yesterday was 100% on him. Disorganised, disinterested, and demotivated. If Top watched that and somehow hasn't got the balls to pull the trigger then relegation is nailed on. For context my best mate who's an Arsenal fan was sat in the away end with his brother-in-law who is an Oxford fan. He messaged me when that second went in saying 'Wow... Aren't these bottom of the league (ignoring Sheff Weds for obvious reasons)'. Summed it up perfectly for me. 1

Vaz Posted 25 January Posted 25 January So we're at the "Blame the fans" part of the managerial cycle.

markko Posted 25 January Posted 25 January He has had so much given to him to help him. A squad full of want aways, a board who have given him next to nothing and the remaining players either not good enough or not showing up for the most part. Supporters have wanted him out before he was here. If he has any guts he would walk away because it may just make all of the above realize that at this time we are an absolute poisoned chalice. Would anyone with half a brain want this job because apart from the money there is no appeal. The club has not even removed Rudkin. Whilst he is still around there remains a huge risk of the same mistakes, albeit he is not being allowed to get anyone in. We are effectively under a transfer embargo. We are not being allowed or enabled to spend anything. We are going one way. He is a small part of the problem but he is not THE PROBLEM. If he is sacked today I don't think for a minute we will get anyone better. There will be no incoming players and we will have the same set of players. We do need some fresh faces, all clubs need that. We need some wise heads with a bit of character to get into the dressing room and start leading and firing up the players. When Pearson was here that was one of his criteria. Can we please also get a decision about the points deduction? It is hanging over is like a bad smell. Do you have to wait until March/April to get it and then have no time to do anything about it? Could the club actually release an official statement setting out where we are? There is just nothing but silence. This season is about staying in the league. If anyone wants this team to go up (bar the money) you must be mad. We would be one of the worst teams to be in the premier league.
fox_favourite Posted 25 January Posted 25 January Announce sacking! Although it will paint over the cracks the size of the grand canyon
Bluetintedspecs Posted 25 January Posted 25 January He'll definitely be sacked and fairly soon, his tenure is now untenable
BrilliantFox Posted 25 January Posted 25 January Too late Aiyawatt, I've had my breakfast and it was miserable. Don't you dare let it reach Sunday roast time. 2

Seems every game even when we win we create less than our opponents. 13th I think (somehow!). But we are still slightly ahead of it, and could easily drop 3 places after after the next match. Big gap to the playoff teams when you consider that the xP table will always be much tighter than the actual table. Hull's is the most mental I've ever seen. Somehow 27 points ahead on this one https://footystats.org/england/championship/xpts EDIT: I've now seen others like Opta that actually has us 2nd bottom which feels more accurate. Then another with us 6th bottom. Not sure why the stats vary so wildy 1
Muzzy_no7 Posted 25 January Posted 25 January Please please please don’t give it to Kingy till the end of the season. Mowbray or Hassenhuttl please. Hell I’d even have Rowett on a 6 month deal ahead of Kingy. 2
