In last 10 years we've finished 1st, 5th and 5th in Prem and won Fa Cup. Played in a European semi final. Coventry were playing in League Two with home games at Northampton.

 

How have we been overtaken by these?

Apart from the Daka head injury i dont think he did anything wrong, we played in to their hands and let them kill the game off. We are too busy trying to win all the falling on the floor antics and not the football itself. Its embarrassing.

We've got a defence that can't defend, an attack that can't attack.

 

Thomas got rinsed multiple times first half, the goal costing mistake was as inevitable. 

 

Glad we've lost, prevents yet more papering over cracks.

Cov were waiting to lose that game first half. It's happened so many times this season. We literally inject belief into our opponents. It's astonishing.

Fcuked about to much in the first half should have had 2 or 3 goals second half playing quite well then that dumb fcuk of a manager makes up his mind to change half the fcuking team again and we turn to shit.

What you can blame him for is continually playing weak as piss at left back and having team talks that seem to take all of the positivity out of our play, as well as incredibly, 27 games into the season, still not being able to put a decent 90 minutes together.

Yep, that's what I'm blaming him for. First half can be on some of the players. But the pattern we play is so easy to play against. We start well, soak up some pressure against us, come out with a bit more urgency and know that we're so soft and easy to target. 

 

Not being able to keep a clean sheet for 22 (?) games in a row (!!!) and there's serious issues.

No leaders other than James, nothing from the manager in terms of adjustment, game management, innovation or giving the opposition something to think about,

Giving Thomas the full 90 minutes and Ayew 75 or so just devalues the badge and shirt even further - and they’ll start next week too.

Absolutely bottled it in the second half again against a bang average side. Probably exactly the medicine Cov needed too.

 

I don't get it from Marti. He's capable of getting us to put that first half performance in and then we regress so much second half. It's a pattern this season that is costing us massively.

Badly need a couple of signings in this window. Played well in parts but you knew what was going to happen. Need to take the sting out of the games when we are under the cosh. Do the dark arts. We seem to run out of steam second halves of games.

Maybe a llittle harsh? He won almost everything first half. Second half the striker seemed tp get beyond him alot more, mostly die to a mostake in an earlier passage of play (e.g Nelson not heading the ball and letting it bounce). 

Personally Okali and Nelson are my prefered centre backs. Ricardo is ok and we need to replace Thomas. 

Any way its all opinions I suppose.

no he didn`t , so poor in the second half, some bad pushes and challenges, several late tackles and kick outs after the bll had gone and stopping the play for no reason several times for no good reason, really lost the plot in the second half

But regardless we lost for all of  the same old reasons, didn`t take chances and played like morons in the second half

He's not why we lost, but there was also the Ayew head injury, not playing advantage at the end, not adding enough additional to the initial 6, and second half he started giving soft fouls which he wasn't in the first

I love how we give him no credit for the first half performance then blame everything on him for the second half. 

 

We are bang average because of the squad we have at our disposal.

 

The goal comes in the first minute of the second half because we have Luke Thomas as our main LB who Rudders gave a 4 year contract to.
