Americans. Id imagine Mike Ashley would be sniffing as well. Theres still a lot of potential at this club if someone managed it properly

Mike Ashley genuinely isn't the worst we could get, now. There's far, far worse than him.

He's also worse than what we have

We have some immutably good features.

32k stadium in reasonable condition, permission secured

State of the art training ground

Another training ground we could sell (there is a covenant sure, but we're well versed in legal matters now)

More name recognition than 95+ % of English clubs

Productive academy

Large one club city/county with a big catchment area

Decent sized fanbase

An hour from London on the train

Debt, PSR, deductions etc are temporary issues. A canny owner would turn this around fairly quickly. We have an owner that is dumb and not bothered and his dumb sidekick should have been booted years ago.

💯 A top club on a downswing

Alternatively, we're a big club with a huge fan base, planning permission on a stadium redevelopment, the best training ground in the world and a big brand.

I think we're ripe for someone coming and buying us for cheap to turn us around. Smart ownerships making clever decisions would have us top half of the Premier League in no time IMO.

Look at Newcastle. Yes their owners have spent a lot but they've made consistent good decisions and have left the football to football people.

They had a vision/plan and they've stuck to it. They signed Eddie Howe and let him build the club up. A clear winning mentality over a philosophy.

We just appoint managers that tell 5"3 that he likes to play like Man City then wonder why the likes of Jordan Ayew can't do it.

So we're looking for a smart owner who will pay what Top wants and then very quickly implement a canny football programme run by clever people, who they'll back with investment and leave to build a winning system on the football side while they expand the ground, swap the kop and the family stand and develop the hotel and retail park?

And will there be blowjob machines installed in the singing section?

It would be great if some local people could set up a consortium to buy the club.

Who's rich from Leicester?

That geezer from Dunelm, Englebert Humperdinck, the Bloor Homes guy, Mr Pukka Pies and Sean From Enderby

We’re not that lucky !
We’re stuffed as a club, his actions over the past few years accumulating into this weeks interview show how far away he is from the reality of where we are as a club from top to bottom, of course this could be a defensive mechanism and defending what he knows is wrong, maybe deep down he knows he’s bull shouting, who knows, only him, but whatever this is now and what we have, is clearly for keeps and the future, he’s not going to change for anyone and he not going to give us a breath of fresh air to sell the club for the better, this is now what we have !! today, tomorrow and always, let that sink in for a moment !!!!

We are bang in trouble with this guy and what a sad future we have in store for our football club. RIP LCFC

You mean Derbyshire born John Bloor?

Teams in far far worse positions than us have been bought by excellent owners out of the blue. We are also still very marketable.

I used to know someone who knew him well growing up and I was told he grew up in Measham, where his business was established and is still based to this day.

Barratt’s, David Wilson & family, Sytner are pretty big. Must be some money sloshing around

Hadn't loaded properly on my phone so thought it was Agamemnon from the Troy film based on the outfit

Can see it being Mike Ashley, given he has links to the Midlands with Coventry and Sports Direct business - but don't think he'd want to wait around a while if he has any interest at all.
