They'd need to keep Seagrave for any sale. Regardless of people's thoughts on what its done to the club its a hugely attractive proposition to any prospective buyer.

For what reason other than land value?

The problem with Seagrave, it actually makes harder club to sell if its included, as it raises the value of the club.  Most sane people wont see it as a footballing asset.

Rusty Lee flogs a fair few cookery books, she might invest her personal fortune into the club (and improve the concourse catering too) :fc:

Half time would be hilarious too "Let's be 'avin you hwa hwa hwa hwa hwa"

Turki Al Sheikh, Mohammed Bin Salam or Sultan of Brunei. Maybe Faiq Bolkiah can put in a good word to his uncle.

Id disagree.  Its a world class facility ready made and any new purchaser of the club is doing so with the intentions of leading it back to the top in time, not to consolidate as a run of the mill championship side.

Whilst the value of the training ground build was "X" whatever value they get for a club sale will be based on numerous factors, that being a meaningful inclusion but in no means suggests they can value it at cost. We were a premier league club when it was built and a successful one at that. Either they are sold as a League 1 or Championship club should they return but in no way does Seagrave impact numbers like it would if they were PL again.

Realistically you’d want a consortium of backers from preferably Europe or the Middle East led by a front figure, who represents the consortium and has a close tie to the club or local area. Lineker would be great but I doubt he could be bothered.

Ashley.

Turn the club shop into a massive JD or Lonsdale Outlet.

Take up 3 seats in the directors front row.

Hire Steve Bruce to get us out of L1 with Dennis Wise as DoF.

Joking aside PSR and Mike Ashley could really suit each other. Personally, I wish they would do away with PSR as it is doing the complete opposite of what it is supposed to but Mike Ashley would probably do well as an owner of a club if the PSR rules stay.

It's not PSR anymore - it's SCR, haven't you heard? :P

Football's long gone so might as well take anyone we can get now before the ESL comes into place in the next decade or 2

Yes, true, which looks like it will be even more protective for the bigger clubs and worse for teams like us.

Seagrave and Stadium aren't owned by the club. But you're right, they'd need to be kart of any deal so the new owner owns more than just the naming rights.

I think club still has the lease on Belvoir Drive, but not ownership. (Pretty sure the land is owned by YMCA)
