Because they aren’t using him either way. He’s not even getting in their U23s regularly, so best to have him at least playing games at some form of level rather than sat around the place doing nothing. I imagine he will play at some point for our U23s.

What is this under 23's you speak of

came in with a lot of social media hype a couple of years ago, has shown flashes but very raw and has been injured a lot. definitely got a lot of talent so interested to see how he gets on but doesn't really feel like leicester is the perfect spot to chuck a lad with no senior experience into at the moment

Hopefully hes just one of those lads who thrives under pressure.... Injury prone is not what we need right now though

That would explain why he's not got any academy/dev appearance data for last season.

Nothing I'm reading suggests this guy is going to do anything at Championship level, i'm so intrigued to see what we've seen/heard about that lad that's made us pin our hopes on him haha.

I do like the excitement of a complete unknown, but I'm mentally prepared to be disappointed and underwhelmed lol

I have kept quiet on all of this for a long time, but now is the time to say it:

our club is broken from top to bottom and will remain so under the current ownership and leadership. I was sat near the Director’s Box on Saturday and a bloke  shouted to Top that he should be ashamed of what he has done to his father’s legacy. Top’s reaction was to put his hands in the air, take a picture of the guy and had him removed.
In that moment, I knew we are ****ed for now and the future.
Pray for change

Yep just seen this myself. Its so painful watching Ayew. If this guy isnt up to starting then we need to be starting Daka. At least Daka runs and presses

The problem with Daka and Ayew is it's basically just 2 different flavours of "How would you like our attacks to break down?"

Ayew  = either falling over, drawing a foul, coming too deep (without pace to rejoin attack) or holding onto it for too long

Daka = falling over or terrible first touch which kills the attack before it starts

And we don't really have the creativity in the middle to be threading balls into Daka, nor the running/graft to bomb into the box and most teams in this league don't leave space at the back either.

Surprised to see we see him more as a winger, didn’t feel we needed competition there unless Abdul could still move to Saudi?

could we play BDCR up top?

“Bare goals man just bare goals”

Does this mean we should expect to see him drinking his own piss and spending his time surviving the wilderness?

A lot of the Chelsea academy clips had him in that position.

That’s what I’d prefer out of the options we have.

Whilst I agree...he won't and we all know that!

I literally said this...Ayew was always gonna start up top because this nightmare wont ever end until that c**t leaves...

This will be our formation next season at this rate, League One won't know what hit it.
