Bear in mind we don’t care what he does over a longer period, its a short term fix that is needed from him.

He has pretty good pedigree for turning teams around short term as per this screenshot.

I'm positive we'll buck that trend but also if he does keep us up I am certain that we'll offer him a 4 year deal.

Steady and relative safe pair of hands given the circumstances, very much in the mould when we appointed Nigel Worthington. Hopefully by hook or by crook we stay up because the consequences of relegation terrifies me.

I dont know where I stand, which I know will turn heads at me even saying that.

The problem is I fear, it will need the imminent threat of liquidation to get rid of Top or at least a relegation to league one.  Like it did at Sheff Wed.
Avoiding disaster quite possibly also keeps Top here, I fear the two things are joined up.
I now have firmly embedded my own opinion that Top is the club's biggest problem.

But as you said going through the whole process of the club's existence becoming at risk is not something to be taken lightly.  We could end up with no club.  Not to mention the reputation damage from it like the first admin did.

Another concern is if we finally do get rid, KP keep hold of the valuable stuff like training grounds and stadium, so the problems wont be over.   That situation in league one would be even more horrifying, we could end up like cov were having to use another ground for home games.

I just want to be hard to beat. Feels like ages since we’ve been an actual test for teams.

(second half of Enzo’s season we dropped off a cliff)

I want players to stop sharing a brain cell when they attack, players to offer support and players to be less greedy.

Getting the man who was recently sacked by Oxford United to try and keep us up in the Championship is a dark day in the history of LCFC. A proper bag of shite appointment for a club that hasn't go a pot to piss in, and if did try to piss in the pot, would miss and piss down its own leg.

Mate unfortunately we’re we are at the minute, it’s the best we can hope full he is certainly an upgrade on Andy king, and short time I’m happy with the appointment!

Yep 4 year deal and an edict to play slop ball is the limit of what they are capable of.

Nah, I doubt top will be able to stomach the style of football.

He's only allowing it through gritted teeth now to save himself from the shitstorm that relegation will bring.

Giving Andy King the job would have been worse, that would have showcased how low we sank and that every manager we approached turned us down.

Trouble is if he keeps us up. He will get a two- three year contract

Probably best next step, we cant keep chopping and changing managers every few months. There was a time once when we didnt replace a manager for four years... mind he stayed a year too long lol

Given our current circumstances, he seems a decent appointment.

He is more of a painter and decorator manager than a pure artist. Hope he uses some gruff lower league, honest words to the shirkers. He will be able to spot them if he hasnt already cos christ we have. Hopefully he can organise this calamity of a defence aswell.

Hopefully he is the next Pearson because we are in a right mess due to Top and Rudkin.

If Pearson wanted it though you do wonder why they have not brought him in to oversee everything, he could run the club a lot better compared to the current idiots.

And you would have appointed who exactly that was better and available?

You've answered your own question. This is definitely the reason, he'll show them up, call them out for what they are idiotic cowards.

Also, the Thai incident with his son wouldn't ha e helped, but I think it because Rudkin doesn't like him as he spoke the truth, knows everything about the clowns in charge, and they are worried he will expose them.

I still think there is a chance sides like Swansea, even Stoke get dragged into the mess if they dont turn around their form, we just need to concentrate on being less shit, which sounds easy!

No way. They are 10 and 11 points ahead of us. I think we’ll be unlikely to reach their current points totals to be honest. Even if we exceed that by a few points, say 5, they would have to pretty much lose every game between now and the end of the season.

Anybody above Portsmouth we can not worry ourselves with. Blackburn, West Brom and Portsmouth are the ones to keep an eye on. And Oxford below of course.
