Football is on its arse and we are the massive turd coming out of said arse. Players paid too much with no consequences of how poorly they play. The whole of football needs sorting out with wage caps and performance based pay. Its absolutely disgusting that fans pay so much of their hard earned money to watch these overpaid tossers, not give a flying fck. Its not about winning or losing, its basic effort, pride, fight and the very basic of actually being fit to be able to play a 90 minute match.

I genuinely hate most of these players and they are by far the worst group we've had in the 30+ years I've been watching LCFC.

Woeful. Its really clicking that this isnt down to the last few managers. The players really are the problem.

The managers are part of the problem, what we need is a decent sports psychologist to work on the mentality of this group, it’s so pathetic, I don’t understand how it can be so pathetic, they are a bunch of victims, a lot of the problems are their own doing. A lot of it is if they actually stepped up their performance levels even 5% it would make a difference, they are complacent. They need serious work on mental strength

Fundamental problem with the team is trying to play this rancid system. It’s not working chaps. Maybe try playing another way.

It's okay to just try something else. Who cares about the dopey owner and his side kicks.

That's a problem, but not the fundamental one.

The fundamental problem with team is psychological.  They don't care and they are trapped in a spiral.

Another one where I missed the first few mins and the goal. What a shocking low energy start! A bit better towards the end so we’re not out of it yet but not holding my breath.

Cant say stoke are that good, they look bad but we just make them look better

Watching us get trounced by dogshit teams is so depressing

It’s possible that Rowett has given them new instructions and ideas but this mob are too thick to implement them.

He has clearly told them to defend narrow and invite crosses

I want to say he has helped make us worse, but I realise that we would find a way to be shit either way

Mukasa's been really anonymous for what it's worth. Really failed to stamp his mark at No. 10 whatsoever.

As it is, may as well try Richards there, we haven't got much else.

Yeah Mukasa hasn't done much, but hardly helped from not getting the ball high up the pitch from his teammates. The one good thing he's done is slide it across to Ricardo for that pot shot.

If we had even one or two good defenders on the pitch that would be a something to build from. We just don't have any.

Looked like a Sunday League side thrown together at the last minute with players turning up late 10 minutes before kick off for most of that half. There are no words that can describe how fckn useless these players are. Strange game football and the only positive is that it's just one goal.

Bad, but we improved as the half worn on.

We need more physicality we aren't getting out of this playing tippy tappy football.

Only way we get out is get lascelles, Fatawu and James fit.

We need to become better at anti football.

We have spent seasons bring in technical players with limited physicality attributes, if you can't win the battle it doesn't matter how technically you are.

Improved? We were awful ALL half ffs

Winks asked a Stoke security guard instructions to go to the away dressing room while he was a yard outside of it and Rowett was waving at him from inside.

We’re playing without a midfield btw

Have done for years now. The charity shield / europa league season.

Peak Wilf.allowed us to get away with a two, but he got injured and tailed off that season and, Enzo part with 2 X 8s playing below their standard, we've never bothered with a midfield again

Pound for pound it's the worst team in the world - absolutely confident of that.

I think we are privileged to be witnessing something quite special.  Legendary even.

We were so quick to appoint a successor to Mighty Marti.

They ok, probably no worse than we were under Enzo.

They get the ball to final 3rd quickly (extremely important).

Pressure.

They can can also actually do simple passes.

What are you expecting from opposition teams.

I'm beginning to form the opinion that these players are so fragile, they actually need an arm being put around them rather than shouting at.

We are very light weight, especially in central midfield.

It was a concern I had at the start of the season (alongside our striker options) when many on here were talking up “HMS piss the league 2.”

The problem as I see it - collectively we only have an average level championship and not enough difference makers in key areas.
