Anyone gunna mention Luke Thomas’ performance today?

Lots to be said when he stinks but easily one of his best performances today. Long may that continue.

Totally agree.

He did well and looked to have enjoyed playing well too

Couldn't be arsed to watch but pleased to get a point and only concede 1 goal. 3 ubeaten away also a positive. Big 2 games coming up that will probably decide our fate.

Look, winning at Portman Road is tough at the best of times, let alone now.

We need to improve our home form drastically if we are to avoid the drop. That is what will be our potential undoing. Not the point we earn't today...

Ok - im not buying the 'a good point' bollocks.

Ipswich were really poor first half, and i think huffed and puffed 2nd half. If they were remotely composed they win that easily.

According to Footmob, we had a 2nd half XG of 0.04. Thats not a good point - its bordering on incompetence. We gave ourselves nothing to work with - at all. We couldn't mount a single counter - couldn't hold the ball in midfield. We literally handed them back possession in a variety of comical ways (defensive headers!).  This wasn't an Ipswich team head and shoulders above us. It's almost like the manager is instilling an inferiority complex into us.

I come out of this not thinking of a battling team who gave it there all, but one who couldn't quite believe they came off the pitch 1-1.

Simply terrible.

I think people are saying it's a good point as before the game our rivals, in fact everyone, thought we'd lose. But the performance on the ball second half was criminally bad, I agree.

Like when we didn't last time

You think after a good point, the players would be up for it, with home advantage, which should be an  advantage, worrying if it bother them, playing at home.

Took the game to them first half. Put a real shift in second half, Ipswich came out looking a totally different team, my grumble would be when we do manage to get the ball in those second half situations keep it simple, keep it, don’t gamble on flicks and dinks and balls over the top - it comes straight back every time. Just make solid contact, kill the ball, move it on, it’s not the time to be a Harlem Globetrotter.

Embarrassing their comms. Making it out like they should have won easy. They had all the ball 2nd half and did fck all with it.

They created plenty of good scoring chances and completely dominated the 2nd half. Hard to argue that we weren’t a bit fortunate not to blow the point today.

Its a cliche - but you play who is in front of you. Ipswich aren't Man City or Liverpool. If they are off it, like they were in the 1st half, you have the opportunity to capitalise.

Every game is winnable in the Championship.

In that 2nd half, if you lay a glove on them you stand a chance.

It was better than recent efforts, but there's been so many false dawns I can't even bring myself to think there's hope even after a decent ish performance.

If we played badly but got a point, then surely it's a good point?

Love how he kept the ball in play for the equaliser and lost his man all second half but to be fair for him that was a great performance

Did they really create that many good chances? They had a lot of pressure but aside from that one scrappy bit and the goal, don't remember JS having to make many saves or them fluffing glorious chances. Their goal was fortunate and I think if you're a team down there, away from home, you deserve the luck.

Winless in ten.

Where's the next clean sheet coming from? 30 successive games with goals against, 33 in total. The shocking stat of the season continues to get even more shocking with each passing week.

Ten games to go, ten finals, need to make those home matches count and win at least the own fans back.

Mavididi, De Cordova-Reid, Fatawu terrible at Portman Road, couldn't be half-arsed. How many shots on goal? I think Okoli has had more than them individually.

Daka would've been part of that select group, if it wasn't for the goal.

I don't ever want to see Ayew in a Leicester shirt again. Bench him for the rest of the season.

Thomas, despite all his flaws: 4th assist of the season now, only second behind Fatawu.

All in all, much better defensive display. Attackers let us down big-time today.

That XG is honking surely we did more than that😂

It's a good stat as a general indicator, but nothing more than that. Their xG was massively inflated by the goal and that scrappy bit where there were a few blocks, I'd guess. Didn't exactly creates loads of great chances

Must have watched a different game re Fatawu as he worked his socks off. Had one lapse where he let his man go but look at how deep he was. Was poor going forward but that's probably because be was forced to be so defensively minded.

Can't believe some of the stuff saying today wasn't a good point. I get that the position we're in, a win would relieve a lot of pressure but when you go to a promotion chaser away from home when you're in a relegation battle any point is a positive, regardless of the performance. It should boost confidence going into the next two games which are must wins.

But also the team third in the league and favourites for promotion pre-season created very little because of that battling. It’s not as if Jakub made a string of great saves or they missed loads of chances. The block late on (was it Aribo?) was the best chance they created without needing us panicking.

Yes, there’s still the shooting ourselves in the foot for their goal by failing to clear, but we’ve been so easy to play against recently and we weren’t today.

You reckon our players are as good as theirs?
