If it was low enough for the club to decide they won't work with Liverpool again then that's pretty telling. So the most promising ones are becoming the passive income. The passive income ones probably get loaned out at first when they're 20 to League Two, end up in our academy until 22 and then released. Needs an overhaul. A couple of good players coming through doesn't fool me that this is an effective set up. If there was one thing Rudkin could possibly argue in his favour it was this and he can't. 1

Dan Posted 1 June Posted 1 June Under £2mil it's a farce. We're actually lucky Monga agreed a new deal and it's why I give him a bit of leeway as well. He could've easily done the same. I wonder if he thinks he made the right decision.

At this stage, due to the player and representatives having to notify the club before the start of June if they intend to leave it is more likely to have substance. Either way we will find out soon enough.

Rudkin is in bed with the agents. The effect is to an extent, we’re relying on them for recruitment and deciding the future of our talented youngsters, away from our club. The powers that be clearly won’t join the dots up. Farce. Edited 2 June by Lesta Legend

Again, I won’t search through this forum or twitter for the comments last year about Monga but they were the same

So if Motsi is off, people will now know.

It incentives clubs to give young lads first team minutes to protect their future value on a young player. 3
BKLFox Posted 4 June Posted 4 June As per my Monga thread comment But us mere mortals looking on football forums don’t half big up players and then slate, in this case Leicester City for not keeping talent but, the academy is doing all it can to keep Motsi but due to age there is very little that can be done if [x] player is drawn to a [name] club it’s what all young lads dream of. Kids what 15 and whilst he’s ripping it up now anything can happen & it’s not just our poorly run club…take the hottest prospect right now Yann Diomande, I’ve mentioned him a few times now. Chelsea and as quoted on here the “we’ll run clubs” of Bournemouth & Palace all had him on trial & all passed him up yet at 19 he’s next transfer & possibly with Liverpool this summer will be north of 80m & probably over 100m …shit happens but in the case of Motsi it’s his age & a kids thinking that is stopping Leicester City from keeping him not it’s lack of trying. 1
SB87_LCFC Posted 10 June Posted 10 June Read yesterday Manchester City have also discussed Motsi internally as a prospect to bring in.......
coolhandfox Posted 10 June Posted 10 June People need to stop jumping at every tweet and post, best to just wait and see. If he stays great, if he goes get a much as possible.

lcfc sheff Posted 30 June Posted 30 June I personally think it’s been hilarious seeing a load of people speculating on a 15 year old boy on twitter, what could they possibly know? same happened with Monga last year

Clever Fox Posted 1 July Posted 1 July 14 hours ago, Ian S said: Been saying for a while, what’s the point of bringing through this talent at such a high cost. Because Youths all develop at a different pace, Some have lot's of talent young and others are slow learners. Others just work harder at developing a skill set. It's the system that's wrong and some Club are going to have to make a stand against it. Football is a special industry it needs a special set of Rules in law. 1
honeybradger Posted 11 July Posted 11 July Not part of the squad earlier today. Any news on whether he is gone this summer? Would hope we could give him a similar offer to Monga with backup minutes to Alves next season. Certainly would rather retain him and bring in no one than sign someone like Chaplin and lose him.
