Can’t see this lot beating anyone half decent. The first decent team with players who are capable of scoring goals, they’re done. Defensively they’re an abomination, leave so much space to exploit. If Panama had players who could hurt you, they would be 2-3 up comfortably by now. The full backs are leaving the CB stranded.

The issue I have is the complete trashing of 2018, 2021 and 2024 as if we were complete shit. Maybe we didn't play great football but we got as far as we ever have in years and years, and the assumption from some that the magic key to success was anyone but him was always rocky.

He did okay Southgate, but it feels like we missed our chance in the 2021 tournament at home. That was the one we needed to win, against a decent but average Italian team. We weren't world beaters but we should have gotten over the line at home.

 

Were a good side on our day but we just aren't at the level of the Frances, Spain, Argentina and id say Brazil too have an x factor that we dont have even though its an average team for their standards.

Probably Schteeve’s. And Capello’s wasn’t much better. 

The FA recruit the wrong profile of managers every time, the men’s side will never win a trophy until the FA change their approach and go for a cůnt like Mourinho.
