He does seem to wallow in negativity, he’d probably prepared an England postmortem and realised he wouldn’t get to use it now. He has a dourness but without the sarcasm of Lawrenson, it’s as if he’s having root canal dentistry not being paid to watch World Cup Games. Almost makes Danny Murphy seem jovial. I think Dixon's fine. I don't think he's a miserable guy, he just has a naturally dour demeanour... Him and Murphy are both dry as **** but it doesn't bother me. 

 

Lineker's presenting cameo bit on ITV was fun. He's still by far and away the best sports presenter on the box. The BBC coverage doesn't feel the same without him fronting it IMO. 

 

Must be ****ing raking it in on Netflix.

I think calling him what I assume should be where those stars are is a bit much. He's not a serious pundit, and I get why he annoys people, but he seems like a nice guy and wouldn't be someone I addressed using a work that would be censored on her.

He's definitely not the worst commentator but I find Guy Mowbray excruciating to listen to during England games, his style and delivery makes me feel so much more nervous than I should 

 

Weirdest bit about last night was Joe Hart repeating the "deeecennnttt" stuff a few times - I know it was Pickford who brought it up in his interview but considering the meme/viral clip referenced was of Joe Hart and Adam Johnson you'd think he'd want to move on tbqhwy !!!!

He's the ****ing worst. Spends most of his time on TNT over here offering his expert opinion and asking the ex-pro on co-comms to validate it.
