Popular Post Leicester_Loyal Posted Saturday at 23:16 Popular Post Posted Saturday at 23:16 3 year deal and he won’t last 9 months. This club is a joke. Can’t wait for the ‘we can’t afford to sack him’ posts in 6 months. 11 1 2
Mista_cle31 Posted Saturday at 23:16 Posted Saturday at 23:16 Does anyone think they'll see the fans reactions and change their mind?! (I'm dreaming I know)
foxfanazer Posted Saturday at 23:17 Posted Saturday at 23:17 What a gross club we've become. Top continues to shit on his dad's legacy 2
CornwallFox Posted Saturday at 23:19 Posted Saturday at 23:19 Ecstatic at the opportunity to watch the development of the project 1

This is an opportunity to build a new squad in a style that is more applicable to what works in 2026. With Martin we are going to recruit and play heavy possession again, which isn’t working anymore, teams have wised up. Even in League One last season the champions had the lowest possession stats of anyone! But on the other hand, Cardiff also got promoted by dominating every possession statistic. But we all know what’s coming with Russell, a way more extreme version of what Cardiff produced last season. I think heavy possession systems still have their place in football, but I mentioned it on here numerous times last season, you were starting to see a real shift in 24/25 where more teams looked to go fast and direct. Cardiff showed it can still work, but with the changes we’re likely to see in our squad, it’s going to take probably a 10/10 transfer window to potentially make it work. It’s just a shame this board are obsessed with being a poundland Man City, when Iraola’s Bournemouth have been the best team to watch in the Premier League in recent years imo. 6

It's amazing really that we're still talking about the same people making these appointments. I laughed inwardly when people held out hope that McCarron might change things. The truth is that if these people think you're the right man for the job, as player, coach, manager, scout or Sporting Director, then you most definitely aren't. 1
Popular Post Vlad the Fox Posted Saturday at 23:31 Popular Post Posted Saturday at 23:31 We hired an out of work Rowett after 4 losses because no one else wanted the job. Nick Mashitter reported on radio Leicester that people were turning down the director of football job because they didn’t want to work with Rudkin and ayawatt. I think we need to realise that no ****er wants to work with these clowns. I’ve given up on going after the managers, all protests and venom needs to be directed towards ayawatt and rudkin. 11 1
Officer Doofy Posted Saturday at 23:36 Posted Saturday at 23:36 The most obvious appointment in football history. Pathetic
Jimmy Posted Saturday at 23:40 Posted Saturday at 23:40 I'm not really a fan of his, I'd much prefer a disciple of Klopp to one of Pep, I am happy it seems to have been done early enough for him to have a full pre season and I think he should be good enough to challenge for promotion with the strength of squad I expect us to have 1
DJ Barry Hammond Posted Saturday at 23:41 Posted Saturday at 23:41 I can’t imagine even Martin can mess up the first part of the rebuild. It’s a gift of a job for him, so let’s see if he can make good of it.
STUHILL Posted Saturday at 23:47 Posted Saturday at 23:47 I am just numb to it now. Until Top and Rudkin are gone, all this just feels a bit "meh" I suspect he will either be a complete shitshow or it will be a double promotion. All depends if he gets a squad that buys into his bullshit. but as I said, meh. 2

bovril Posted Saturday at 23:54 Posted Saturday at 23:54 'Top' is probably the least apt nickname in all history 1

We either paper over the cracks and end up continuing to rack up debt while stuck with this ownership and bullshit "philosophy" or we end up stuck in League One (or worse) and collapse under our own financial weight when Martin fails and risk losing the club we love in the inevitable churn that will follow. I'm at a point of preferring the latter and that's just tragic, and oh so wrong. I hate Top and Rudkin for bringing me to the mindset that I'd rather risk administration or worse than see any positive outcome from their idiotic and short-sighted decisions. Wigston2Canada Posted Sunday at 01:40 Posted Sunday at 01:40 We have to give him a chance - he has a clear identity and we have to recruit/build a squad to complement it. Can’t be asked with continuous screaming of bloody murder after every decision the club make. It’s clear Top isn’t selling and Rudkin won’t be going anywhere no matter how much belly-aching the fanbase does. Clubs of our stature live and die by our recruitment so hopefully we get that bang on ( We Have To) The idea of seeing Luke Thomas & Hamza Choudhury being the backbone of our team next season genuinely keeps me up at night. 1

We don't have to at all. Clubs of our stature live and die by our recruitment, agreed, hence why were dying with appointments like this
