Preseason 2026 - Starts 29/6

Starting to feel there are some real conundrums appearing.  The youth players dont look out of place, seem to have the physicality, and are slotting into Martins system better than the established players. Its Skipp, Faes and Okoli that look like the ones out of place and somewhat lost.

 

Surely, we've got to bite the bullet and stick with these?

 

Alves, Brayebrook, Aluko in particular look top drawer. Neale and Carr just behind them. Thought Joseph looked good as well.

We need some new good pros, if we go in with just the youth we will be in trouble.

 

We need to ship out Faes, Skipp and Okoli and reinvested in some better suited establish players.

These pre season games should really be free to view for Season ticket holders and members. I doubt if many have paid for the legal stream.

Just had an email through offering access to the 3x upcoming fixtures for £10.99. Pre-season turning into a cash grab.

The awful thing about this charging of pre season games is that it’s incredibly restrictive to watch them live. If we were playing local clubs nearby who wanted people to visit over streaming I’d totally get it (like Burton game for example) but the Northampton friendly was restricted to 499 people and these two games in Spain are relatively late announcements in a not so straightforward location.

Good, hopefully it brings them crashing back down to earth and they realise how lucky they are to have a facility such as Seagrave.
