He's a very big coup, let's be honest. I prefer Alves LW as others have said but I still think Mavididi goes and whilst I want to see Lorenz Hutchinson get a good amount of minutes next season he's far less effective as a wide player. He'd be my back up to a proper number 9.

Good move this

Rik approves - GET HIM IN 😂😂

pace, tight close control, and an excellent ability to beat defenders on the dribble. They paid 10m plus ,  behind Kaoru Mitoma. only thing is he has bad at loan at millwall defensive issues and got dropped i think , but then big potetial and if he had a great champioship loan then he was not coming here!

The difference is that Watson is not our player long term so we dont get any benefit from developing him up to standard.

Feels like another Casadei where our fans are raving about him when he signs but he ends up looking very raw.

Are you planning a holiday before the season starts?

Two weeks away from here will do you a world of good.

As seems to happen so often with City fans, we underestimate our brand.

There's many players who'd see a career advancement opportunity to drop to league one, playing for a defacto premier league club in front of 30k each week, likely winning every week and building themselves some confidence and playing under a well known manager that, tbh, had some cockiness about him.

Either that or slog away for 13th in the championship with Blackburn, Bristol City or Derby.

Put another way, had Spurs been relegated last year there's plenty of players who'd still choose a temporary drop to the championship over Cov, Ipswich, Sunderland and Fulham

Relatively speaking, you are right.

But that's massively down to the PL title.

Imagine what pull we'd have without it.

“As per Alex Crook”.

Bit disrespectful to the Tier 1 🐐 that is Pete O’Rourke.

People don’t rate him, but I don’t see him get much wrong. He was the only one who said Alex McCarthy. He broke Richards aswell last season

Wonder how much RM’s links with Brighton being from the area helped get the deal done. Can we have Cozier-Duberry as well whilst we’re at it? lol

(RM has stated himself good links with Brighton prior to people jumping on that)

Assume the point is back in the championship we would be under the three year rolling rule and reduced losses this season will help that calculation

Nope, it's changed

Not sure thats the case now, it's about revenue the year in question.

Fair, at any rate the wage that would be carried over and carrying players not up to standard in the next division is something we have struggled with a lot recently

Daka's numbers were off the charts, cant fault that. He just went to shit

Yep agree I think most people though daka was a decent signing. Just didn't work out.

Only reason I mentioned tete is ric does himself, it was a joke not trying to find where everyone was wrong.

No one is right about everything.

People's who's actual job it is have been getting it wrong at Leicester for 5 years.

Hahahahahaaaa i'm better at saying which players will be dog shit.

It's the hope that kills you, we were all screaming out for a right winger. Trouble is we were trying to replace about the best we ever had.

Good signing this, we need wingers.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see Cullen play as a right winger at times too. Alves, Carr and Hutchinson as backups. Still interested to see what happens with Mavididi
