He was a liability at Southampton for years, from what I've seen of him he's every bit as bad as Ward. Didn't surprise me at all how bad he looked yesterday.

Slow, ponderous, arrogant even. I know goalkeepers are usually something else personality-wise, but he spells trouble (should he continue the way he played yesterday).

That one chance when BDCR promptly lost the ball was half McCarthy's error.

On that performance I don't want to see him start another game, 29, he moves more like a 49 year old. Stol must step in, surely. Wtf do we always seem to end up with Southamptons cast off's.

How many games will he last before he’s inevitably dropped? I reckon he’ll cling on for 5 more games before he will once more become the veteran back up keeper that he undoubtedly is.

We’ve exchanged one end of his career keeper for another.  Great business.  One last payday for his mate.

Another LCFC donkey sanctuary signing that has perceived experience through servitude, not ability.

It was all his fault. He was aware Bobby was going to be pressed and under hit the pass. It is a symptom of playing this style, in that the player making the pass has to be both aware and play passes perfectly. In that case the keeper had neither.

Worst part is if he had 'prem interest' you can bet your bottom dollar he'll be the best paid keeper in league one. Absolute disaster of a signing

Even worse is that you know to bring him here he had to be guaranteed first team football. We are stuck with this.

29?? I genuinely thought he was about 40.

Does anybody tell managers no at Leicester?

I’d have vetoed 95% (genuinely might be more) all of our shit signing since about 2020.

Anybody that’s ever looked into rudimentary stats/analytics or has even grown up playing football computer games wouldn’t have signed McCarthy. Instead we let the manager we’ve almost pinned the whole future of the club pick his favourite broken toys.

McCarron either has no power or he’s a f ucking idiot (unlikely given his previous employer), I can’t imagine why he’d let Martin get away with this.

Stolarcyzk has his faults but looking likw he’s combating some sort of debilitating disease isn’t one of them.

Whenever I saw McCarthy play for Saints, I always thought thank f@€k he doesn't play for us.  After yesterday's performance, I've no reason to think he's got any better - he's shite

Such an odd one, martins knows him, knows he is shit with his feet but sign him to play Brussels ball

Acts like the balls a ****ing bomb!

looks awful on high balls and no better than Jacob at shot stopping.

Shit show!

Like I said before yesterdays game. This bloke has always been a crap keeper and we should be using this season to develop Jakub. At least Jakub may improve and if he has a good season he will be worth some decent money, unlike the old bloke who is worth **** all.
