Being at the game I thought he was decent. Lot of good runs off the ball which weren't picked out by the likes of Skipp who would rather turn back.

Always available, physical. Not first choice by any means but think he could be a useful squad option.

His movement will mean he scores goals.

Wasn't impressed with his first touch though, as some said still raw.

Im sorry to hear that.. and to be fair I did get divorced and I can't bury my football club under the patio like I did her.

Don't be sorry - I remarried and ended up with a better deal

From what I've seen so far, we have controlled most games - be interesting to see how we get on against the Spanish teams who in all likelihood will have much more technical ability than those we've played so far (albeit not as far into their pre-season). I'm looking forward to seeing how we manage when we are under a bit of pressure.

Excited ??
I couldn’t give a s*** about this club anymore.
The only thing will excite me is if I hear KP have sold up

If you don't give a shit about the club anymore then why are you on a Leicester City focused forum talking about the club? Do you often go out of your way to discuss and look at things that you don't care about when you're not at work?

The move for Alves’s goal was bloody delicious.

I know I don't know you, but it's great seeing someone who was so disconnected getting their spark back with the club even if there is such a loooooong way to go. Fingers crossed

Couldn’t watch how did the youngsters get on?

All did well in fact if we keep Faes, Skipp and Choudray out we looks good side. Exciting wide player, big lump option upfront. Listen Martin dump the oldies and let is enjoying football all again.

The academy kids made the experienced ones look ordinary. Faes, Skipp and Okoli all poor. Mavs grew into the game and Luke was ok. I can see a game where we just play all our academy players, maybe with the addition of Souttar.

They were being very honest, maybe exaggerating a little, I don't know. But I think a lot of people are going to, and should, take more convincing that we're back on track.

While I certainly do still care about the club (as I'm sure the poster does too) it'd be fickle if I was convinced by a few decent pre-season outings ahead of a League 1 season. I certainly wouldn't tell anyone who was still thoroughly pissed off with the club that they're a tosspot.

If we do well, then this season is going to be a fine balance between letting the club know that they're not off the hook and being good fans who get wholly behind a promotion push. If we succumb entirely to the positive vibes then I suspect we'll let ourselves in for a lot of longer-term agony.

The young Academy lads are technically miles in front of most players in this league BUT

They are all relatively small and or weak so teams will suss this in no time. In open play we might be able to cope but at set pieces we would be sitting ducks.

Maybe worth the risk though ?
