He looked sharper today—a yard quicker than in recent matches.

It must be frustrating for him. He makes intelligent runs that routinely go ignored, and when he actually does get the ball, he’s usually 40 yards out with his back to goal.

That said, he did switch off a couple of times today. When Howell managed to keep the ball in and loop it across the six-yard box, Bristric had already given up on the ball and missed out on a potential tap-in. Playing in this system though, he’s going to need the patience of a saint and the clinical finishing of Harry Kane to get more than 15 goals a season.

I thought he looked pretty good.

Some nice touches & lay-offs. Also looked energetic.....which is a definite upgrade on what we've seen recently.

Interestingly, my MK Dons supporting mate was at the game today.  He said we have lots of good players and were clearly the better team but Bristric was absolute pony and we were worse with him on the pitch.

Can tell he's settling in more and wants to be here and do well. Much better than the trudging and turgid Ayew we've had to put up with.

Still think once he gets a goal he'll bang them in regularly.

I think all those roundabouts have affected his eyesight.

Thought he was very good today said it in the post match thread, always chasing balls, presses well, seems to link up well and can see he's already improving his quick lay offs. Nice to see a striker give the ball and immediately look to get going as well. Just need to see how he is with genuine chances

Can tell he's gradually getting a bit sharper and used to the pace of play over here, some nice touches and runs. As has been said though, proof is in the pudding when it comes to him actually having chances which seem few and far between given how we choose to play.

I think he'll be fine and good for ~10 goals but I do worry about the goalscoring burden being placed on him simply because our other striking options seem to be 5'4" attacking midfielders who can't finish. Been said by countless people on here but we clearly need an alternative out and out striker.

Has he had a shot yet?

Had a deflected one that looked pretty decent. Not concerned too much by him yet. If he'd had the 3 chances The Throb has had vs Notts County and today and missed them then fair enough but chances will fall his way soon.

Hopefully they start working on balls in behind / through the space for him in training

Some of the diagonal runs he was making today were brilliant, but other than Souttar occassionally no one was really trying it

Some very good link up play from him today where he was coming short and first touch flicking it round for Howell

Plus another shot that was on target but didn’t really test their GK. I like his movement off the ball and he’s tried a few give and goes. Has dropped deeper at times and then wasn’t in the box when a cross came in but that’s not necessarily a negative, making space for others. I think k he’s got something and I’ll really celebrate his first goal, hope it’s Tuesday

You can see why we signed him. He does seem to fit Martins style quite well, but if we can get the midfield and him on the same wavelength , we’ll be quids in.

New Country new league new Team, He's going to need time to get up to speed but you can see he is improving, All he needs is a Goal to help him settle.

Cullen is absolutely useless.

Bristric made a run to the right taking the defender with him making space in the middle and Souttar played a great ball into the space but Cullen was nowhere to be seen.

It made Souttars pass look worse than it was.
