Asking Rowett in the studio about the dilemmas of including or excluding some of the players. The guy who handed Mavididi a starting place week in week out when he wasn’t putting a shift in!

I’ll be watching from behind the sofa.

I'm on my compooter - I don't have a sofa to hide behind.  My big office chair will have to do - not that there's much room in here to hide behind it anyway :P

McFarlane must be honking in training.

Good to have another injury merchant on board in Chaplin.

He’s missing the opening game - not 6 months. Get a grip

Managed Notts County on Premier Manager 98 on one of these bad boys.

I hope they're as bad as I was when I took the reins at 12 years old.

He's young and pretty inexperienced.should be having a run in the side this season instead of some old boy.

Does the club have a decent goalkeeping coach ? .... he is young and inexperienced but there are lots around like him but he is nothing exceptional

If Page goes and we don't replace him with an an atheltic and robust central midfielder like Charlie Webster then i'll be livid.

Yep! Cannot go through a full season when Skipp and Braybrooke as the 2 main midfielders. We need athleticism

If I was Notts County I’d be heavily pressing our back 4 particularly Okoli who treats the ball like a hot potato, guaranteed at least one goal from an error, Souttar had those brain farts vs Northampton too. Russ mate, no one has ever scored from row Z, lots of people have scored when ill equipped players try to play like the second coming of Beckenbauer on the edge of their box.

Good than Alves, Braybrooke and Joseph play from the start. Feel for Aluko but it’s just a shame both he and Joseph are right sided as if one was left footed that’d have been ideal.

Would have liked to see McFarlane for Thomas but sounds like he has had a knock, hopefully he will be integrated over a short time.

BDR up front is crap but we weren’t expecting Bristvic to start days after joining were we.

Midfield is really good for this level. I don’t find Skipp offensive, other than the finances involved in him coming/being here. But Skipp, Braybrooke, Burns, Cullen and Alves should be plenty good.

I’m not sure we are looking at what will be a settled centre back pairing with the transfer window still open and not convinced by McCarthy.

Only real surprises are the GK change, Mavididi dropped altogether and I'm a little disappointed he didn't put Cullen up front and do something different in midfield. Let's see then, can DCR do more than last week. I will say that I quite like our options on the bench other than Choudhury.

Imagine this forum if we’re 3-0 up at halftime.

I mean obviously you’ll have to imagine it as it’s not happening. But I reckon it would reset all of our brains and we wouldn’t know how to handle it.

Martin says there is a lot of interest in Faes and Mav. Excellent news.

Yep, and based on what he said about going with the players that will be here. I think Page will be going if Howell is on the bench.

Watson off the bench will be good to see. Pace and directness will cause issues

We have some genuinely exciting options on the wings, its nice to know we can bring on players who might actually change a game rather than feeling like we're throwing the towel in the moment we make subs

We’ve seen enough of him to know he isn’t good enough, we’ve got to try somebody else.

I mean that's not true is it? He was plenty good enough for us in the championship under Enzo, and didn't disgrace himself in the prem while Mads was out to my memory. Had a bad season last year sure, but that can easily be attributed to the management. One bad spell shouldn't be "seen enough, get him on the scrap heap"
