Alves was a bright spark, dropping Mav made such a difference. 
 

Same players making the same

mistakes.  Thomas, Skipp and Reid are just pointless.  Why make a quick forward pass when we can make 9 just so it gets back to Thomas who may pass this time to Alves.

Shite. A better side would have scored 3 or 4 against us today. Very worrying. Lack of fight and lack of strength both mentally and physically. Better players were the young lads again like Alves and Joseph. Souttar can fck right off.

Literally nothing has changed for years. That performance is pretty much a copy paste of the majority of the last 5 years of performances. 
 

Some of the same shit players, now demonstrating that they’re not good enough against a newly promoted league 1 side.

Sorry to say but this team still lack a leader and any form of defensive steel bar Jayden Joseph. 
 

The younger lads, in particular Alves and Joseph gave a good showing but the rest were poor. 
 

I get possession football and controlling the game but there has to be an end product, that’s just not there right now. Playing an actual striker might help.

Pretty much what I expected tbh.

 

It's frustrating watching players like Thomas and Okoli who have such obvious weaknesses. Most teams would try to minimise them. Yet we consistently send them out and ask them to play a style which maximises and exposes their weaknesses.

The frustrating thing is it's so painfully obvious what's wrong but the same old mistakes are just allowed to happen.

 

Our 'senior' players just do not care, and that is the root of the problem. They need binning off immediately otherwise it's going to be another dreadful season ahead.

I feel like it’s more a mentality issue than anything else. Last season was a case of us handing points back to opponents because we lacked the mental resilience to see games out. I hope that doesn’t continue throughout this season, because we’ll be stuffed.

Youngsters were the highlights

Think we saw plan B, Bristic actually won a header when he came on. We clearly need a target man, didn't see enough to know whether Bristic is the right one.

 

And by the way, WTF was Souttar playing at for their goal. Surely an international footballer knows to play the whistle.
