Honestly just dont care about this trophy, its not like you win it and qualify for europe. It seems like only Peterborough are interested in winning it. I think bring in under 21 premier league team has devalued this cup more. It wouldnt be bad if championship sides played in this also.

The way I see it, it's like when you can only afford to go Skeggy for your main family holiday that year. Might as well make the most of it!

"Look, I'm hugely disappointed for the players, because I thought for vast periods of the game, the performance was outstanding. We dominated the ball, we controlled the tempo, and we got into some incredible areas on the pitch. But ultimately, football is about both boxes, and we haven't been ruthless enough in theirs, and we've been punished for one moment in ours.

If you look at the stats, we've had absolute control—huge amounts of possession, double-digit shots, and clear-cut chances where we should be out of sight by half-time. But control without that final killer instinct leaves you open to a sucker punch, and Fulham credit to them, they stayed in the game, took their moment, and defended their box with everything they had.

It's frustrating, because I see how hard the lads work every single day on the training pitch to build these moments. The structure was there, the courage to play out from the back was there, and the patience to break down a low block was there for 80% of the match. But we have to learn that domination means nothing if you don't put the game to bed. You can't leave the door open at 1-0.

I won't sit here and criticize the process, because I genuinely believe in this way of playing—it gets us into the positions to win matches. But what I will say is we have to demand more of ourselves in those critical moments. We need that extra bit of composure, that extra bit of bite when a chance presents itself.

We take the point, as painful as it feels right now, we analyze where we fell short in that final third, and we ensure that the next time we dominate a game like this, we come away with all three points."

Before the start of the season we were pretty much favourites to win this competition. Now just a few games into the season, it would be no surprise to see us lose to a team of kids 😔
