Everton faced two separate Profitability and Sustainability Rules (PSR) charges and were found guilty of both. Each charge represented a single overarching breach for exceeding the Premier League's financial loss threshold across rolling three-year assessment periods. The got 8 points total deduction after appeals etc

BBC Sport has put our potential losses at about £5.6m. And the ****ing rest. It didn't cover the 2009-2018 period but UEFA banned them from Europe when we finished 5th twice in a row. They cried to the CAS but it's been proven they were cheating.

 

I think we would have made twice as much just from gate receipts before you even consider prize money, sponsorship and elevated transfer fees.

 

It doesn't matter that we would have used that money to give Danny Ward an extra £50,000/week. That should be our money!

BBC didn’t go beyond 2018 

I’ve seen a table that said we’d lost 18m on prem league places over the 4 seasons but that sounds a bit high to me for four seasons

Not enough points deduction I knew the Premier league would bottle the points deductions if this is true we have a really good chance of suing Man City & possibly the premier league for missing out on Champions League appearances and we’d get another few trophies accredited to us !

If true, it's not enough. They cheated for multiple years so one season of points deduction isn't enough. They will win the championship at a canter and be back in the premier League within one season. 

 

As for retrospective awarding to runners up, no I don't like that. Should be voided as I think that would open another can of worms.

 

There should be a 2+ year transfer ban not 2 window one and multi year points deduction as well for me.

I’m calling BS on this. You can’t ban a club from selling players, it would be a restraint of trade on the players themselves.
 

The CL thing is also deeply problematic and, given the format of the group stage, gives a huge benefit to 8 clubs to the detriment of the other 27. 

 

80 points almost definitely relegates them, even a perfect season would leave them on 34 points.

If it is not an expulsion and multi year points deduction tgen its pointless and won't act as a deterent. 

The punishment needs to match the gains achieved (is it 6 titles?). Otherwise what stops Newcastle thinking, we will spend what we want, tie them up in red tape and take a punishment that will affect us for a few years so we can win 6 titles?

They will get away lightly I can see it now they deserve more than an 80pt deduction where we got 6 points for a minuscule of what Oil City have been charged with the should be given at least a 6 point deduction for every charge banned from every competition foreign & Domestic for 5 years at least, transfer ban for 5 years and more they have lied and cheated for years and they will not be charged as they should be as the EPL & FA haven’t got the bottle to do the right thing !

Top level football has been a cesspit for years. Nothing but expulsion from PL and Football League will do, and they can start again in the National League. Everything they’ve won does not count, and the moments they’ve stolen from other clubs, players, fans etc - and the period after the charges relate to should also be wiped / considered given the foundations on which it was build was a fraud.
