To address this on a serious note - our fanbase is so weak and compliant that's what I'm obviously throwing up a pastiche of.

The results aren't good enough wholesale and I don't want him at the club.

But there are many for whom this result will be enough to turn a blind eye to.

It's nothing to do with picking up or putting down the beers. It's a long term knowledge of how complicit our fans are, you included, that a win over Bromley is enough to stop demanding change.

No one has said that a win against Bromley is enough to stop demanding change, in fact most of the comments I’ve seen are people saying “it’s only Bromley they are shit”.

That being said, 2 wins in a row and some confidence in the team we might see that after the next 5 or 6 games we are actually pushing for top 2. Might being the key word as we all know it could all crumble pretty fast.

On another note, Notts county beat Sheffield Wednesday, Stevenage beat Plymouth, Luton lost to MK dons last week, Oxford drew with Mansfield last week. Lots of the teams in and around the top are stumbling against teams that you wouldn’t expect them to.

The league may be shit but teams expected to be down the bottom are getting results and teams expected to be at the top are slipping up, we are far away from being stuck in league one because of a poor opening run.

This is a formation that can at least work in championship and even prem. the tippy tap total football only works with world class ball players.

Hopefully this can build a bit of confidence. Im still concerned about the defence but see how we do against Luton who are a reasonable side and Stevenage, if we can not get spanked, things looking up.

Was expecting a bit more resistance from Bromley. Apart from two short spells in each half, they let us trample all over them.

Happy with the win, glad we kept a clean sheet, and I can‘t really criticize any of our players. Shame I missed out on Thomas‘ goal.

All around, a sound performance. More of that on Saturday, please.

It's a very weird league with no obvious runaway favourites, and it's there for the taking - we can only hope that we're done sniffing our own farts now and start playing to the level this squad is capable of.

Bromley were bad, but they're only a point behind Peterborough who destroyed us!

An encouraging performance, let's hope we have actually turned a corner and with with some more consistent results.

Knocked it around nicely but my word they stood off us and made it incredibly easy. I’m not marking it as a turning point just yet.

Bromley are potentially the worst team we've ever played in a competitive match

Makes a nice change for us to be the ones saying that.

Glad we are winning again, regardless of the opposition. We have had some soul destroying results this season so at least we are turning them around, however briefly.

Braybrooke with three assists is excellent.

Fingers crossed for it, I still think we will slip up here and there but I’m hopeful we will be able to put together enough good runs to make a charge for the title.

Probably the worst team we’ve played against this season but we still had to get the job done. The new more direct passing approach is paying off instead of trying to bore the opposition to death. Hopefully Martin has finally accepted that it doesnt work and will carry on in this fashion.

Lundstrum is class at this level and having a proper leader at CM is vital. Okoli, Alves, Thomas and Braybrooke all played well. Would still like to see some variety on players on the bench as Chaplin and Cullen are quite similar in style. Need some pace coming in in Jan

Better finishing and we’d have been 5 up at HT. We were at least 6 goals better than them. But they were absolutely honking. Southampton 0-9 away is maybe the only team I can remember being that poor. But the jump from non-league to L1 is huge in fairness. Having said all of that, we can only beat what is front of us and we were extremely professional about it. If we can go to Luton on Saturday and get another win, I’ll truly say we’ve turned a corner.

I will admit that a lot of our fan base is soft as ****. Too many happy clappers over the last 5 years. Too many who are "King Power FC" and are brained wash...

Genuinely though, why the cant we celebrate a win? We shouldnt be in the position we are in but we are and we deserve to be by the waywe've  be ran from Top to bottom. But as a fan, winning a game can still be enjoyable. Doesnt mean we dont want change.

If we can go 7 points in the next 3 games that’d be a real sign we’ve got things figured out, fully expecting us to get 2 points though.

Why do you say things like this. Please have a little confidence  and belief.

Other than a bit of the finishing nothing to complain about at all with that, very good comfortable win

Great to see 3 of our best players tonight being academy lads

Hopefully that is the game that lets Braybrooke and Alves kick on for the season now

So true…..despite all the criticism our owners have played a part in that, the lads were our best players…..almost feel them improving with each game….big game Saturday…..Wigan Tuesday, bit of belief, how refreshing
