Saw Bullet Train at the Odeon yesterday.

Pretty decent but not quite what I was expecting from the trailer. A bit of Kill Bill meets Lock Stock on a train feel to it.

Yeah I thought it was alright but tried to cram a few too many characters in to the plot.

Nope

Jordan Peele horror movie.  Was boring.

The Invitation

Not bad.  Entertained me for 90minutes this past weekend while laid up sick

Emily The Criminal

Probably the best of the three movies I watched while not feeling good

Watched The Kingsman whilst on a plane. Better than expected but the first quarter was a bit weird , after that though it was trying to be a lot of things but had enough to keep me going. Cheesy and sometimes shocking 7/10

Please PLEASE, when recommending films that are not in the cinema, tell us where we can find them, y'know, Netflix. Apple, Prime. It would be so helpful.

Thanks.

Thanks.

I use this when someone suggests something I’m interested in - it will tell you which streaming service is carrying a movie/show you’re searching for.

and no, you don’t have to register to use the search function.

Hahaha.   Did you fly with United Airlines as well?  I watched the same movie while everyone else was either watching Top Gun Maverick or Jurassic World Domion.

Speaking of in flight movies, what movies in the past have people watched on flight somewhere?

Recently to and from america I watched, The Joker, Wonder Woman, Scooby Doo and bit of the great gadsby then got bored.

Dark City.

Old classic I saw at the cinema in the 90s before the Matrix came out, starring among others Richard O'Brien, recently got the theatrical cut on Bluray, still looks beautiful and has a killer soundtrack.

If you've not seen this and love sci-fi it's a must see....

Was that the one with Kiefer? Been ages since I saw that, but I remember liking it.

Yes, he played the doctor, the film had a decent cast including the late William Hurt.

Delta airlines

Did 4 planes in 2 weeks around America and Mexico (Honeymoon) they all had the same choice and I gave into Kingsman only because I’d seen the others , my review is based on trying to find a film I could watch , keep me awake and not care about whilst being barged past with a drinks trolley every 30 minutes on a 8 hour flight ✈️

Fair enough- how did you find Las Vegas?

That’s one of his rare movies that I did not like.

It does turn into an anti-alcohol PSA but the entire crash sequence is around 10 minutes of awesome IMO.

Yeah

I think the alcoholism is what through me off.  I don’t remember the trailers alluding to him being at fault.  I was under the impression he was a hero and they were trying to blame him for the incident - like Sully.  Instead, he was an alcoholic.
