Scream VI

Thought it was okay, but definitely too long.

A little better than the last one, but really that’s not saying much.

The original is still the best.

Ghosted on AppleTV with Chris Evans and Ana De Armas.

Utter drivel. One of the worst modern day action films I've ever scene. Laughable script, plot and ridiculously unrealistic action scenes. With the usual horrible rom-com tropes and added forced humour which is all the rage these days.

3/10 and that's generous. Avoid at all costs.

The OH been badgering me about watching Everest as I’d recently watched a couple of docs about the 8k plus peaks.

Surprised it didn’t get more applauds because it’s a bloody good watch

I really enjoyed it. Brolins character was amazing and to think it was based on a true story all the more incredible.

Watching the classic 12 Angry men  on film 4, made decades ago, black and white, mostly in one room and mostly just dialogue but it is so well written, shot and acted it is a masterclass in film making.

Had to look it up on Wiki and did not realise it spawned a few copycats including a Chinese version, even found this on Youtube.

The original is superb. Particularly Henry Fonda and Lee J Cobb performances

Candyman. The original. I honestly think it’s the best horror ever made (after The Exorcist).

I first watched it when I was about 12 and it terrified me. Still can’t go into multi-storey car parks without thinking of it.  I watch it at least once a year, and every single time it’s amazing. I’ve recently become re-obsessed with it and started watching every single interview/documentary I can find on YouTube. It’s a total fvcking classic.

Maybe watching it now for the first time it may look dated. But I love it.

What's the new one like? (Was it a remake?)

Guessing it's like with Nightmare on Elm Street, the old one's look dated but are actually miles ahead of the latest versions.

I wasn’t a huge fan of the new one. It was interesting, and did try to take things in new directions but it just wasn’t scary.

Watched Renfield last night, vampire movie about Draculas' servant, was decent comedy, action, horror - Nic Cage stole every scene he's in but that Akwafina actress has been awful in everything I've seen her in.

  6/10

I follow Tony Todd on twitter and he's a great guy and very generous to his fans!

Excellent actor and should have got more lead roles.
