What's everyones favourite Leanardo Di Caprio film? Was having a lengthy internal debate earlier & can't decide between Shutter Island & The Departed

Shutter Island for me but I have a soft nostalgic spot for Titanic.

Utoya: July 22 (2018)

Fictionalized story about a girl searching for her younger sister during the real life massacre at the Norwegian camp.

This had to be the saddest movie I’ve ever seen.  It was great.  The main actress was excellent, but the story is so heartbreaking that I don’t think I’ll ever be able to watch it again.

8/10

No - I watched the Norwegian film.

Saw it on a list of top foreign films and decided to check it out.

From what I understand, both movies took vastly different approaches.

The one I saw was a single camera, one continuous shot that played in real time.  It only followed the female, and the horror she experienced.

This is the one I saw

John Wick 4 looks decent and I was considering going to see it tonight but a running time of 2 Hours 49 Minutes means getting home late on a school night.

I wonder what the body count is in nearly 3 hours.

I read somewhere that all 4 movies have over 300 deaths 😂

A Bronx Tale with a young Leonardo is good

He's not in that film.

Off to see the dungeons and dragons film tonight. Please don't suck. Give me hope that we'll see some of the amazing d&d stories hit the big screen.

FWIW I've heard good things.

X (2022)

Porno slasher

A group of aspiring porno filmmakers head off to a remote farm to make their film, when murder comes.

Starring Jenna Ortega and some other people.

It was OK. Not as creative as I'd hoped and it didn't really interest me enough to watch the sequel/prequel Pearl.
