He's not in that film.

I think @ricowas recalling the "Mutant Ninja Turtles" classic.

But he's not in that either.

FWIW I've heard good things.

It was good enough imo. Possibly the wrong side of the cheesy humour line though, but neccessary to introduce a younger generation to D&D. Overall a good couple of hours of fun.

Now all I need is someone to have the balls to give Paul S Kemp a ring, get his shit on the big screen for the adults, and I can die happy.

Watched John wick 4, actually wasn't that impressed.

Felt very much like they'd taken 2 films and merged them together.

As an action film, great quality, but in terms of the story of the previous 3, not that great

Tetris

Watched this on AppleTV about how the video game was  brought from Russia to the entire world

A little too fast paced (shoulda maybe been a mini series), a little confusing, but entertaining nonetheless.

Saw it this afternoon and not one I’ll watch again. Like you say lots of action and great quality but let down by the storyline.

Felt like it could have been around 45 minutes shorter.

Are John Wick movies ever really about the story?

I mean at this point he has over 300 kills.  Seems like you only watch to see how he will kill - like Friday The 14th or Elm Street movies

I was never going to not go and see Cocaine Bear and tonight was the night.

Great nonsensical fun, a little more conventional than I might have expected but plenty of laughs and over the top gore to justify the outing

I really enjoyed The Portable Door. It's on Sky Cinema. Fun film to watch over Easter. It's like Harry Potter meets Doctor Who :D

Pleasantly surprised and hoping there's a sequel!

I thought it was fairly average for a Guy Ritchie film. Fairly standard action fare nowadays. It also reminded me of The Unbearable Weight Of Massive Talent with Nic Cage. Very similar plot.

Watched Coda on Apple TV+ earlier and thought it was really good. Definitely starting to think that’s the streaming platform putting out the best content

Meh.  Not a whole lot of action, or really much going on.
Two things I didn’t expect in a movie about two people trying to survive on a planet inhabited by dinosaurs.

For some odd reason, what could have been a cool reveal, was given away in the first 15 minutes.

5/10

Swimmers on Netflix- it is a true story about two sisters fleeing Syria who ended up swimming through the sea as they pulled a sinking life raft with other immigrants on it.   One of them ended up swimming at Olympics.   Sensational.

I Care A Lot

Rosamund Pike, Peter Dinklage, Diane Wiest.

About a woman who has found a perfectly legal scam: She gets a doctor to declare an elderly person as vulnerable so that she can swoop in and be appointed their legal guardian and be put in charge of all the decisions in their life. They're put in a home, drugged up, their house and everything they own sold off to the highest bidder "to pay for their care", or to be leeched off until they die. One day, she targets the wrong old woman.

I really enjoyed this. There are so many arseholes presented to you but you end up rooting for them at some point. Perfect ending too, IMO.
