Finally spent the voucher that my step daughter bought me for Xmas now that the shops are open!

 

Only went a couple of places to have a look for some bits for my revamped kitchen, no queuing or anything in Northampton to the places we went.

 

Picked up this little shelf unit to carry on the industrial look.

Weirdly have no idea.

 

I was fixing a fence a few days ago and it ached a bit afterwards - was at GP this morning for something unrelated and she packed me off to A&E for an x-ray. 

Distal radius fracture, apparently. 

 

Had a few golf days booked as well :angry:

Crash/fire on the A47 nearly made me miss my hair appointment at half 9 today. Had to reroute and gun it on the M69 and run to the barbers once I’d parked up to make my slot lol

Went to the pub for a pint tonight. It's mental how we've missed the little things we take for granted. 

 

All 6 of us went for just 1 drink after we had dinner.

 

We live in a pretty small village and just popped in to the local. Normally wouldn't have bothered, but want to help out local, independent businesses in these times.

 

Probably wait until it's a bit warmer for our next visit! 

 

Can't wait till next month to actually sit inside and have a proper meal in there.

 

Quite lucky that a couple of the pubs round here are independent and do some cracking food and beer.

Changed the oil in my car. Feel like a man again. Also trimmed my tree (no, not my big penis), went for a bike ride with the wife and kids and enjoyed some curry goat and roti for dinner. Good day.

Signed up with my new agency to work for Amazon today.

 

Left the old one a couple of weeks ago as they were complete dickheads, Amazon agree, they've lost the contract!

 

Get to bring my van home every night now too, so saves driving my car everyday to collect the van.

It's the Mrs' 40th in just over 3 weeks.

 

I'm so unbelievably bad at buying gifts. No idea what to get her.

 

She likes Craig David, so I managed to find a gig he's playing in August. I can stand it, I guess, as she's bought me tickets to see New Order and Biffy Clyro in September (both rearranged for consecutive days, what a bloody weekend that's going to be) and she doesn't really like them.

 

But I've played it pretty smart, the Craig David gig is after a horse racing meet at Sandown Park lol

 

I honestly have no idea if she'll be happy or fuming.

I think she'll do the same when I say "Detorri is in good form, but the trainer isn't. You've got to take this in to consideration. I fancy the the one that Crowley is on, but then again, you need to look at the weight. 

 

Do they like the surface?...I'm not so sure.

 

9/2 coming in to this as a maiden filly? I ain't having that.

We’ve had a workman in this morning who after using our downstairs toilet commented on its slow flush. Now I know why as he’s left an immovable beast lodged in the pan 🤮
