What gigs are you going?

Recommended Posts

Last night it was Alice Cooper in Bordeaux. 71 and still rocking like he did decades ago - I thought he'd be dead by now.

Show was theatric and surprisingly good.

Not quite like this from July but it's the US part of his world tour:

Last month I watched Sting (again) in Marciac (near Bordeaux). Genius:

This is his concert from Paris which was exactly the same:

Got tickets for Johnny Marr in Manchester, September.

Went last night, 5th time seeing him live. Without doubt the best setlist I've seen him do (first time I've ever seen him do This Charming Man). One of the best gigs I've seen from him and some of his riffs still amaze me when he does them live (Easy Money, Getting Away With It, How Soon Is Now etc).

It's gonna be really difficult to get any tickets for the Hella Mega tour. Would absolutely love to go. Surprised they're not doing more dates and Huddersfield is a random choice.

Green Day and Weezer are both great live. FOB can get bent.

Out of the three singles each band dropped to promote the tour, Weezer's is by far the best.

The Amazon's in November, Interrupters and Dead South early next year all at Rock City.

Pink Martini at Royal Albert Hall in May and Rammstein at Cov next June. Would have preferred to see them in Cardiff but had already coughed up £100 for the Fuerzone at the Ricoh.

They offered ticket swaps, not sure if you saw that? If you have tickets to Coventry, they could swap you over to Cardiff. Might be a bit late now though.

I didn't see that, but there's about 8 of us going and more than half from Hinckley, whilst I still think a weekend in Cardiff would have been great the Ricoh is an affordable taxi away.

In that case, yes, absolutely. I am about 10 miles from the Ricoh (Hinckley as well), so it's very easy to pop over and be able to drink without paying a bomb to get home.

Have to wait until April 2020 for the gig but delighted to have got tickets for Nick Masons Saucer Full Of Secrets..Have watched a lot of YouTube clips of the concerts already done since he formed this group in 2018 ...All tracks pre Dark Side of the Moon so mainly very early Syd Barrett classics played by a very  talented tight band....Can’t wait
