Rocket-Ron Posted 21 May 2015 Posted 21 May 2015 "How is Jamie Vardy good enough to play for England but [insert any non-striker] isn't?" This should be a thread all on its own. I shall go for "Lukas Jutkiewicz"
gerrytaggart Posted 21 May 2015 Posted 21 May 2015 Lad on facebook suggested the one who looks like a squashed jacket potato. Have a guess who that is Deeney? 1
MC Prussian Posted 21 May 2015 Posted 21 May 2015 Vardy is bound to make an appearance against Ireland, but I guess he'll be benched for the Euro qualifier against Slovenia.
4everfox Posted 21 May 2015 Posted 21 May 2015 Jealous, bitter fans are hilarious. Especially when they support small time mickey mouse clubs like Crystal Palace and Stoke! I bet only 30% of people from Stoke support Stoke, 20% probably support Port Vale and the other 50% are probably glory grabbers. As for Crystal Palace, they are London based so about 2% of London support them
Stadt Posted 21 May 2015 Posted 21 May 2015 I keep seeing "The worst England squad ever, how will we ever win anything?" or "Is this really the standard for the England team?" well no its not. The squad has been decimated by injuries and the best young players going to the Euros, which incidentally these fûcktards were probably clamouring for, so in short, no, this isn't the standard of the england squad, its the basically the 3rd team based on form and not reputation, the only other replacements for theses mediocre players are also ermmm mediocre.
Fox in the Forest Posted 21 May 2015 Posted 21 May 2015 http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/leicester-city/11621320/Leicester-Citys-Esteban-Cambiasso-signing-of-the-season-in-greatest-escape-of-all-time.html Redknapp giving (what appears to be) genuine praise. Thanks 'Arry xx! (Mods. Apologies if this has already been posted - didn't look, feel free to merge!)
Danizen Posted 21 May 2015 Posted 21 May 2015 He had a large part to play in the demise of Portsmouth and the financial trouble at QPR and he was trying to use his media links to destabilise our club last season. He can say what he likes, I'll still think he's a ****.
AKCJ Posted 21 May 2015 Posted 21 May 2015 Was going well until he said "He (Cambiasso) didn't fancy Leicester, he wanted a move to London". So why did he sign for us and not you then you fat scrotum-faced bellend? 1

The fault lies solely with the people who let him spend.
SystonFox Posted 21 May 2015 Posted 21 May 2015 Jason puncheon can never play for England. He has gold teeth FFS that just ain't cool. Vardy will smash it and then get called up to the Brazil squad along with Cambiasso
st albans fox Posted 21 May 2015 Posted 21 May 2015 Was going well until he said "He (Cambiasso) didn't fancy Leicester, he wanted a move to London". So why did he sign for us and not you then you fat scrotum-faced bellend? id take harry's version of events (his agent was hawking him around) over others. harry would know. we were clearly willing to part with 'many pound notes' to put the deal to bed
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 21 May 2015 Posted 21 May 2015 I wouldn't take Harry's version of events of an episode of Chucklevision, the man is a compulsive bullshitter. Still, the praise is nice. Hope his knee is recovering. 2
Corky Posted 21 May 2015 Posted 21 May 2015 Well, ya know, Paul and Barry are triffic, top, top lads. To Me, To You, triffic. 2
Danizen Posted 21 May 2015 Posted 21 May 2015 Nothing to do with the owners giving him a budget? Whilst I don't like the bloke, you can't blame him. The fault lies solely with the people who let him spend. He takes a huge portion of the blame. I know the owners of both clubs were reckless and stupid but Redknapp was constantly targeting players in the £60-70k/week bracket who would have little to no sell on value because he was too lazy to actually scout around.
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 21 May 2015 Posted 21 May 2015 Fact is even if you over spend if you over spend wisely you will bring a club forward, some of the signings Harry has made in regards to fees and wages over the years are absolutely laughable, an owner should trust that his manager knows what he's doing, blokes a full on fraud.

Guest ttfn Posted 22 May 2015 Posted 22 May 2015 Well, ya know, Paul and Barry are triffic, top, top lads. To Me, To You, triffic. I don't talk about other teams' players but Paul is a top, top player for me. Of course I'd be interested in signing him but really that's up to the chairman

Stoke pretty much sell out every week, so hkw would you know only 30% of stoke residents support stoke ? Stoke a Mickey mouse clubs Hahahahah you keep bouncing between the league's pal. Jamie vardy should be nowhere near the England quad when all strikers are fit , however he is the beat of a bad bunch
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 22 May 2015 Posted 22 May 2015 There's a great quote from that Man Utd forum: "England will never progress if we continue to pick players like Jamie Vardy." Go on then, name another player like Jamie Vardy who's been called up for England duty recently. In fact, name another player like Jamie Vardy.

I don't support England, but the reason why they never get anywhere is they keep picking players like Danny Wellbeck who only get in the squad as they play for a "bigger" club. Vardy has scored the same amount of league goals as him and a shit load of assists. ****ing hate Man Utd "fans", piss me right off!!!
Dynamogoon Posted 22 May 2015 Posted 22 May 2015 I've noticed this season, how little fans of the bigger clubs actually know about football 2

The amount of people that seemingly have no idea that the under 21's have basically been given first pick, and that there are about four others out injured is laughable. He's in because he's in better form that the likes of Crouch, Defoe, Wickham, Bent, Agbonlahor etc. That's the long and the short of it, nobody is expecting him to be the future of English football. Yes he doesn't score the most goals, but that's not his game and not why he's in the squad. His other stats smash the other options to pieces in terms of everything else. Screen Shot 2015-05-22 at 08.09.13.png 81 shots, 5 goals, that's impressive from Wickham. Where did you get those stats from?
