UpTheLeagueFox Posted 29 April 2016 Posted 29 April 2016 Front page of NY times: http://www.nytimes.com/ Wow! If anything underlines the madness of this season it is Andy King's picture appearing in the New York Times. That's Vardy, not King. Are you a plastic?
Steven Posted 29 April 2016 Posted 29 April 2016 Apparently we would be better off financially if we finished second. http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p03slll2 All true but can we not get extra sponsorship, advertising and other revenues because we are Champions ( )?
foxile5 Posted 29 April 2016 Posted 29 April 2016 That's Vardy, not King. Are you a plastic? 'he's here he's there he's every ****ing where'
st albans fox Posted 29 April 2016 Posted 29 April 2016 It's well documented that winning the PL generates a far bigger return from the CL compared to second. Also, being seeded 1 gives us a much better chance of making he last 16. He is quite simply wrong and in surprised that no one at bbc sport understands it. Must all be gooners! They don't realise the advantage of winning the PL. Arsene hasn't told them. They think 4th is cool. 1
Chester Dontlie Posted 29 April 2016 Posted 29 April 2016 That's Vardy, not King. Are you a plastic? There's not only King, but even dough-tossing Schwarzer inside http://www.nytimes.com/2016/05/01/sports/soccer/how-leicester-city-went-right-side-up.html
lgfualol Posted 29 April 2016 Posted 29 April 2016 That'll give some delicate Spurs fans some aneurysms

HighPeakFox Posted 29 April 2016 Posted 29 April 2016 Juan Mata: Leicester's success this season a breath of fresh air. http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/36168563 Nicely inaccurate caption on the photo about our last win being 1986 at OT. The well of lazy ignorance never runs dry,
MC Prussian Posted 29 April 2016 Posted 29 April 2016 What grinds my gears a little bit in terms of media coverage surrounding this season is that I've heard a many German and Swiss TV stations calling Leicester "a team out in the province". Eleventh-biggest urban area in England, smack in the middle of the country, one hour away from London - provincial?
filbertstreet Posted 29 April 2016 Posted 29 April 2016 Nicely inaccurate caption on the photo about our last win being 1986 at OT. The well of lazy ignorance never runs dry, apparently this was the last time we won there, schmeichel was in goal as well! http://www.11v11.com/matches/manchester-united-v-leicester-city-31-january-1998-23170/
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 29 April 2016 Posted 29 April 2016 (edited) On newsnight now.Just popped in to post this - wow, we're f-ing massive!Oh hang on... This guy is surely a Spurs fan! Edited 29 April 2016 by DJ Barry Hammond
Gubbins Posted 29 April 2016 Posted 29 April 2016 (edited) 'If you're a Leicester City fan, ****ing enjoy it on Sunday' So spoke Noel Gallagher just before launching into Don't Look Back in Anger at tonight's gig. Awesome! Edited 29 April 2016 by Gubbins

WigstonWanderer Posted 30 April 2016 Posted 30 April 2016 'he's here he's there he's every ****ing where' Every time I see that chant I think of Alan Clarke.
NewEnglandFox Posted 30 April 2016 Posted 30 April 2016 Mark Schwarzer would set the record for oldest ever Prem player if he made an appearance. He's 43 years and 207 days old (April 30) and the current record is 43 years and 162 days by John Burridge. (Start the football began in 1992 whining.)
Lcfcwigstonblue Posted 30 April 2016 Posted 30 April 2016 Well wishes from the Mansfield Town Chairman. https://www.facebook.com/JohnRadfordMTFC/posts/1128708227150761
Free Falling Foxes Posted 30 April 2016 Posted 30 April 2016 (edited) Just been on 5live that they are going to have wall to wall coverage of Leicester City tomorrow all day on the radio, starting at 6 am from the King Power. Edited 30 April 2016 by Free Falling Foxes
Leicester_Numan Posted 30 April 2016 Posted 30 April 2016 I'm trying to stay dignified and enjoy our success (hopefully) without taking pleasure in the failure of other teams. But some Arsenal (though they've all piped down now) and mostly Spurs fans are so bitter and hypocritical its incredibly hard not to stick the boot in, at least a little bit! I seem to have been aware of the Arsenal & Spurs accusations and bitterness for longer than anyone on here and yes it is incredibly difficult not to react to it. Something I've failed with on a few occasions when they've really pissed me off. Generally though, i try not to react, i don't post on their forums and i just retweet some of the crap if I'm annoyed enough and let others do the work of responding to the idiots, leaving me free to calm down and laugh at the responses.
