This season was always going to be a bit of a change given how often we won last year and how long it's probably going to take us to win this year in comparison. Got a real feeling today's the day, though I said that against Arsenal lol

Honestly I can't understand the vendetta against Merson. What he's saying is what most would expect: Stoke just came off a fantastic win at Man City and we've has decent results all season but failed to get a win yet, then saying that the home team who had one of the best home records in the league last year will narrowly win at home. What else would you expect?

No problem with him thinking they'll win, but not having a lot of points yet is a concern? How many did he expect us to have?

in relation to the play off game. they got past the half way line.

only a line of police horses on the 18 yard box stopped them.

I was right at the front on the railings celebrating with the players when we noticed the opposite end empty on to the pitch.

players had been stripped of kit etc and had to be escorted of the pitch.

the walk across that rubble of a car park after wasn't nice either.

"I've never heard of any of their players, they've not got one star man."

INVALID STOKE.

Christ that just makes the defeat even worse for them. Beaten by a team full of nobodies apparently.

Stoke City boss Mark Hughes has admitted that he has "no complaints" with his side's 1-0 defeat to Leicester City in the Premier League.

The Potters were beaten at the Britannia Stadium on Saturday as Leonardo's Ulloa's second-half goal saw the Foxes snatch the points.

"We can't have any complaints about their game plan because we did the same at Manchester City a couple of weeks ago," Hughes is quoted as saying by BBC Sport.

"You have to give the opposition credit, they defended manfully. We had good chances and on another day we would have taken the game away from them quite comfortably."

Can someone tell this to the stoke fans?

The wankest team? We played the way Stoke did for years under Pulis. Edging out scrappy wins here and there - and that's what allowed them to stay in the Premier League for this long.

It's as if Stoke fans can't stand to look in the mirror. :D

The thread http://oatcakefanzine.proboards.com/thread/234673/lost-worse-side-home-prem

has the comment

"We lost to Fulham who were pretty w*nk, but Lester was completely abysmal from an attacking sense."

We were "completely abysmal from an attacking sense" and score, which makes them what exactly?

Sorry got to add

"Their keeper is the worst I've seen in a long time, can't believe he's got a clean sheet to show for his performance."

He made 1 good save because they only had 1 decent shot.  Hardly his fault Wes and Liam didn't give thier "Premiership" frontline much of a chance.  Didn't see that he did much wrong.

Bit fed up of the 11 players behind the ball, parking the bus line, as well.  We finished with Ulloa, Nugent and Vardy on the pitch ffs, away from home! Oh and the the big fella that ran the length of the pitch with the ball just before the end was a centre half.
