Leicester

Fans of the reigning champions were only the 11th most satisfied out of the 23 teams to return sufficient data.

Some 32% of fans felt another central midfielder was required and 40% were less than impressed with the options at right-back. A quarter of fans even wanted another centre-back too. However, goalkeeper (95%) and the two centre-forward positions (91 and 93%) were viewed more positively.

I am so happy spurs have finally won something. Now perhaps the winging feckin fans will shut up.

I had a conversation with a local window cleaner my family use, a Forest fan.

He said that Leicester are lucky to have 'rich owners and that you've spent a lot to be where you are now. We have struggled with a transfer embargo but we'll be with you next season'.

Hang on, you have a rich owner as well but we have ones that comply with financial regulations and we've hardly spent since signing Slimani who hasn't yet played...

Anyone seen anything from a burnley perspective? Surely even the most hardcore fan can't grumble at today's result.

To be fair, they were missing David 'better than Drinkwater' Jones. Pinched by the mighty Sheffield Wednesday. But on a serious note, Burnley are levels below us and will likely face relegation unless 3 teams dont do themselves justice.

Just seen Dyche's post match interview and he was mostly complementary of us. But he just couldn't help having a little dig saying our second went in "after about 14 deflections". He's such a bell sometimes bless him...

Not having a go at you Wymes but WTF.

When did we break the British transfer and have the most expensive keeper. Our spending is still modest and relative to our earnings. Unlike Cloughies was. Tell him to fvck right off and grow up.

They have rich useless owners ours are great. I so wish the Trent would flood and wash the whole of red notts away forever. Sad bitter tw@s that need to look closer to home if the guy is even old enough to remember.

Tim Sherwood reckons the last tournament was drinkwaters last chance to get in an england tournament team

That would be the Tim Sherwood who is one of the worst premiership managers of all time.

Also anyone of you getting grief from a Forest fan about their glory days in the last millennium ask them who they beat on the way to winning the European cups. You cannot take away their achievements just like you cannot take away last season from us but seriously look at the teams they had to beat and then kid yourself you have actually heard of them all.

They maybe living in the past bit the European cup was harder to win than the CL. Spending is relative back then if you lost and did not win the second game by more goals you were out. Man u won it after losing and a draw to barca (group stage yes) but beforehand they would have been out. In florist's day you could not have done that.

I'm not having that.

The quality of teams in the competition were way below the quality of the CL today. By qualifying as England's Champions it automatically made you one of the favourites.

Nowadays with the best teams in Europe in it rather than the champions of lesser countries it makes it much harder to win.

It's a lot harder now. You could have faced the might of say Luxembourg's champions and Finland's champions, you'd be in the quarter finals.

There are circumstances what can occur in the Champions League where you'll have the top four leagues all with a team in a single group.

Back then every team where champions not lucky dip bag qualifiers' in third or fourth place. Then fluke it through and win.

still the quality was relative to the competition. And the money at the time

Anyway no need to argue the big boys have fixed the CL. Even if we win it and the prem this season we won't be in pot 1 next season.

yes we would, defending Champions and the winners of the top 7 leagues are in Pot 1

not after the rule changes we won't. When the pots are seeded by you co efficient and this season won't count for next seasons CL. So whatever we do this season pot 3 or 4 is our best hope next season.
