Dan Posted 10 February 2014 Posted 10 February 2014 It's no co-incidence that he's being shipped out from club to club. Reminds me of that lad Jason Banton we had. Meant to have a hell of a lot of talent yet never made the most of it. It'll be Forest or QPR and I'm pretty certain it'll be QPR.
GingerrrFox Posted 10 February 2014 Posted 10 February 2014 I have a family member who went to school with Ravel Morrison, they were in the same year group and according to them he honestly isn't that bad. Sure he's a bit of a diva but in reality there aren't that many modern day professionals who don't have that about them. Certain players respond well to an ear bashing and others you need to put an arm round and support, I honestly think if any manager could get the best out of him it would be someone like Nigel.

Only nice lads intimidate witnesses.

Easy to be blinkered if people have vague connections to someone too.

Easy to be blinkered if people have vague connections to someone too. Ferguson said a few times that he only sold him because he felt it was best for Ravel's career. He's from a really bad area of Manchester and a lot of his friends from school were becoming bad influences and trying to drag him down the wrong path. Since he's moved to London you haven't heard a peep about his personal life because he's out of that cycle now.
Aus Fox Posted 10 February 2014 Posted 10 February 2014 Tuesday fixtures: Bolton v Burnley Brighton v Leeds Huddersfield v Nottingham Forest Sheffield Wednesday v Wigan Watford v Birmingham Yeovil v Millwall Home wins all around please
Fox92 Posted 10 February 2014 Posted 10 February 2014 He's a cracking player, Morrison, but it's his attitude. I'm not doubting he's a nice lad, but if Sir Alex got rid of him then doesn't that tell you something? Remember how good Lee Sharpe was... There are players that Fergie took under his wing, the likes of Scholes, Giggs, Neville etc. In regards to tomorrow's fixtures. Yeah Bolton aren't too good, but let's no discount the fact the game is a local derby. Anything can happen, especially a draw.
Beliall Posted 10 February 2014 Posted 10 February 2014 Home wins all around please sod it, stick a tenner on an accy
Leicesterpool Posted 10 February 2014 Posted 10 February 2014 I hope Derby win tonight, to keep QPR are off our backs and to put more pressure on them.
Guest ttfn Posted 10 February 2014 Posted 10 February 2014 It bemuses me how year after year, several clubs end up with 3 or 4 games in February and 7-9 in March. It's absolutely ridiculous and completely favours the sides with deep squads (and therefore should be of use to us). But why have no midweeks set aside between 28 Jan and 11 March, but then there's another round on 25 March? There would be nothing to stop a full round of midweek games next week or, given the predictable lack of Championship sides in the 5th round of the Cup, next week.
Sydney Fox Posted 11 February 2014 Posted 11 February 2014 Doesnt it have to do with the European games? I thought I remembered reading somewhere that Uefa want the Champions League games as standalone fixtures during the week. It applies to the PL, would it apply to the Championship as well?
Sydney Fox Posted 11 February 2014 Posted 11 February 2014 In other news, it was great watching QPR lose!
Mark 'expert' Lawrenson Posted 11 February 2014 Posted 11 February 2014 Two draws tonight at Bolton and Huddersfield I reckon.

We've had games on champions league nights in the past.
Soar Fox Posted 11 February 2014 Posted 11 February 2014 This Fawaz day is brilliant. I've just saw on twitter a girl with a big kuwaiti flag which she's taking to the game tonight.
Guest Col city fan Posted 11 February 2014 Posted 11 February 2014 Waghorn scores from a corner, sums him up. Waggy assisted Maynard's goal too. Where's Mark w?
