AKCJ Posted 18 July 2013 Posted 18 July 2013 Bell and Trott need to stay in. Don't worry about scoring runs. Just stay in, get the Aussies frustrated a tad.
Finnegan Posted 18 July 2013 Posted 18 July 2013 Not seen you since day one of the last test I assure you, I'm entirely neutral!
ScouseFox Posted 18 July 2013 Posted 18 July 2013 Kinda glad we brought Bresnan in now, gonna need some batting later on by the looks of it.
Guest MattP Posted 18 July 2013 Posted 18 July 2013 ROFL at Warnie and Bumble abusing Boof as they have caught him listening to the commentary on the balcony lol
Corky Posted 18 July 2013 Posted 18 July 2013 Looked like an inside edge from Root. And Pietersen walked, so all our players aren't like Lance Armstrong, Mr Holt.
Corky Posted 18 July 2013 Posted 18 July 2013 Her Maj delayed the start then buggered off after an hour! Disappointed, thought she'd be in the middle of the Barmy Army singing about Ashton Agar and Mitch Johnson after tea. Maybe next Test?

Swarles Barkley Posted 18 July 2013 Posted 18 July 2013 Bairstow you lucky ginger bastard! Go on mate push on from here
marko Posted 18 July 2013 Posted 18 July 2013 I know he got away with it, but the sooner Bairstow is dropped from the Test side the better.
Guest MattP Posted 18 July 2013 Posted 18 July 2013 Awful shot from Bairstow, lucky to get away with it.
purpleronnie Posted 18 July 2013 Posted 18 July 2013 Another session like that last one after tea please.
Ross-Kemp Posted 18 July 2013 Posted 18 July 2013 Can see us going on to hit 350+ now, think Bell will come close to a double hundred.
Leicesterpool Posted 18 July 2013 Posted 18 July 2013 I notice when Bell as a bad game they call for him to go, when he has good game you hear nothing!
Guest MattP Posted 18 July 2013 Posted 18 July 2013 Anyone who has ever called for Bell's head should be put in stocks and have tomatoes thrown at them. Crusing now, looking very nice. Openers must be gutted they didnt get in on here.
Swarles Barkley Posted 18 July 2013 Posted 18 July 2013 Bell is our best player in my opinion in terms of shot finesse and fluency. Also i think im the only person who actually likes bairstow and would have him ahead of compton
theessexfox Posted 18 July 2013 Posted 18 July 2013 Good stuff from these two, Bairstow got his fortune but is making the most of it, Bell is bang on form.
Matt Posted 18 July 2013 Posted 18 July 2013 Feared for the worst when it was 28/3 but we've quite clearly stabilised ourselves. Ian Bell has to be joint or atleast 2nd important member of the team.
Guest MattP Posted 18 July 2013 Posted 18 July 2013 Fantastic knock. You wonder how Bell gos through such bad runs when he bats like this. Give us a wave Finners! Couldn't find a Welsh one next to it so this will to do

Craig Posted 18 July 2013 Posted 18 July 2013 Thank god we've turned it round. Managed to bag a ticket for Monday so hoping it goes the distance with a successful finale like Trent Bridge.
Corky Posted 18 July 2013 Posted 18 July 2013 I notice when Bell as a bad game they call for him to go, when he has good game you hear nothing! Really? Haven't heard any calls for a while. Bairstow was fortunate but Siddle has no excuses. To not get any part of the foot behind the line is inexcusable, and rightly costly.
